Hi...
I've joined about half an hour ago LOL... Anyway I've made some wallpapers before (and I'm still somewhat of a noob). This is actually my first REAL attempt at making a wallpaper. Previous work was just to add some background to some of my vector art (to not make it look so dull with just a white background). So here's my Fullmetal Alchemist wallpaper. I vectored a scan for the movie, and I just had to make a wallpaper!

I've used photobucket... imageshack is acting up again :(.

If everything we see here was done by you then i think it's perfectly fine. i'd wonder about the pixelated signs -- they surely need antialiasing. also, the black signs at the top left corner for me appear there like out of nowhere, i'd think of getting rid of them.
Well... most of that wallpaper was done by my apart from the alchemy transmutation circles (those are brushes i got from deviantart), and one area of the background is a scan of the gate (top center to top right). Other than that everything was done by me. I did the vector too :).
Anyway, I see your point on the characters in the top left corner... it does look outa place. Also those circles... I meant for it to have somewhat of a rough edge... so I sharpened those layers. I should maybe lower the opacity a little too. Anyway, thanks for your comments. I'll go and fix it up :).

Well, you know -- i forgot to mention that the vectors are really great, imho. everything generally is very smooth and nice, so those sharp signs do stand out a bit :)
btw, those FMA signs on the left, those 3 that are positioned vertically -- you could ensure for them to be in a place for 3 icons on the desktop. that would be nice to have 3 icons there :] [like My Computer, Trash, and something :)]

Wow, what a lovely wallpaper for your first time! *__* The vector is so clean and nice! As for the background, you might want to take out the alchemy circles because it would take away the pixellated feel and still look really good :3

I've made a few minor changes to this wallpaper. I think this will be my final changes though. I really like this wallpaper, and wouldn't wanna change much. So here it is...

The alchemy circle behind them is still jagged...but i suppose the great vector makes up for it^^
It's a great wall, I just don't like the dark space around the edges. Good luck on submitting your wall! :)
