How do you handle stress?
What do you do when you get all stress out? How can you relax yourself?
Usually, I don't stress but until the last moment, I might show some alopecia, sometimes my left eye hurts and some others I just feel itchy around my arms. Other than that my mood doesn't change at all.
I guess the best way to deal with it is exercise for 2 reasons:
-it helps to get distracted in something productive
-it'll make you feel tired so you'll be able to sleep properly

Stress really never showed any outer signs for me. It's all a mental thing. My cure is music.
I sit down and listen to Addicted to Stress (Jimmy Infantino).

I agree that exercise is a good one, I also like to listen to music I find myself liking something with no lyrics at times like when i'm in stress.
I try to do absolutely nothing, because if I try to do anything, I get more stressed XD , but seriously, I like to just sit or lay down and just think. It's quite stressless ~_^
225mg of Effexor, it makes it easy to not dwell on things, being on that i really don't encounter lingering stress, you got a prob with perscription meds? too bad.

My three ways of dealing with stress: listening to music, take a nice long shower, or go to sleep.
Heh lots of threads on stress...
like ive said on the other ones...i like to sit outside late at night and smoke 1 while looking at the stars...itll at least calm me down enough to sleep
stress in the workplace, i usually just go sit in the breakroom or go tear some boxes with my bare hands...i guess "sitting" is my stress reliever hahah

Actually, no one has no stress. As time goes by, you'll find that the stress you got to face is becoming stronger. However, running away from the reality is never a good choice. You cannot run away from it. Instead, you got to take it. The most important thing is not how to avoid stress. The successful people never try to get away from the pressure they face. They try to transform it as the fuel of their engine to keep going.
Don't be frustrated if you fail. Everybody fails. Try to learn something from your failure. Then stand up, don't stay lying on the ground. If you keep spending time reminding what you missed, you'll lose yourself.
I suggest an old book, which has helped me two years ago: "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" written by Dale Carnegie. I still keep this book on my desk.

I concentrate on whats most important. Anything I don't have the power to change, I forget about. What comes may come.
i'm always in a no-win situation at work these days. It's impossible to do everything perfectly in the time alloted, so I concentrate on the priorities. I'm not going to stress myself out for nothing.
The worst kind of stress is waiting for an answer or just having to wait in general... in that case.. doing other activities like exercise or working on personal projects that make you feel you've done a lot in the day helps a lot.
When you start having panic attacks and twitchy eyes... thats when you know you need to change strategies ~_^ (or change jobs)

It didn't work too well. There's too much crap in my subconscious.
But one thing that really helped relieve some stress lately was going to Anime Expo. Seriously!
I usually just get my Ipod, make myself bored and go to sleep.
