Steve...was a hero!
I use to watch him all the time, till his show was takin off the air.
I was always thinking "Sir, your going to die doing this. This is your life, and its going to end with and by the animals."
I thought he would be taken down by a croc...i thought that would more...symbolic for him, ya know?
But, hes still a hero in my eyes.
^_^
WE LOVE YOU STEVE, CRICKY!

WE LOVE YOU STEVE, CRICKY!
I watched his show a while back for quite a while, and I enjoyed it. He was one gifted person. Too bad he had to leave so soon...

No offense, but you guys don't know much about stingrays do you? The barb points back/up from the base of the tail. Whipping the tail would barely cause the spine to move. Steve-o crashed into the ray, plane and simple.
Finally! IExactly what I meant^^
I watched his show a few times when it aired on our TV. I think that it really is something to wrestle with crocodiles and stuff like that. You have gotta give him credit for doing all that stuff. I expected that something like that would happen but i thought it wouldn't be something like sting from a sting-ray. I always thought that he would be killed by some giant crocodile or something like that. I really feel sorry for his wife and his kids who are really small. Rest In Peace Steve Irwin.
He died in freaky way..really...i watch his shows sometimes and i have to say i quite like to his shows though he is a bit aggressive at times.but he is a brave person and he does love the nature a lot...i won't dare to things he did.so,i salute him...well,he died doing what he likes.is it sad or happy??
i pity his family..his kids are still young...honestly,i feel really sad seeing a person like him died just like that..well,may he rest in peace~god bless~ no more crocodile hunter..awww~

So sad...Saturday,yesterday, was steve's funeral. he is buried in his family's zoo, with, maybe, a monument; so people could pay their respects.
Steve Irwin was a pretty crazy guy, but it's too bad he died. He was only 44 - that's pretty young. His kids were young too. I bet it's a pretty sad time in Australia right now...

dear god yes!
Irwin was a maniac, a freaking dumb maniac. Everything has its limits but apparently he had none.
But he really enjoyed what it was doing. . so at least he died doing what he liked

I really miss him. T_T I've been watching him on television since he started his series on discovery. My nephew who is two and a half years old said he wants to be like him went he grows up. I almost cried went he said that. I'd be happy if my nephew took that type of a career. Steve was the most awesome guy ever!

Man, some people in here aren't that bright about a famous person's death. It's so amazing people can just laugh at his death like that. Just amazing...

It was a shocking story heard it on the radio it was unbelieveable... Bit ironic though... killed by a dangerous animal while doing a documentary on dangerous animals. We'll miss his courages/idiotic clash with animals but other than that we'll miss his slogan 'Crikey'
Bit cruel but when i heard it him dying I though his last words were something like this 'Crikey I've been hit' ^^;;

I think its sad that he died. He was prety crazy but an amazing guy. At least he died doing what he loved. R.I.P Steve
Steve Irwin was a great guy. Shocked was my first reaction when I heard the news! I knew he well known, but I didn't think it would bring up so much controversy. I heard there has already been a private weekend service around a campfire has already been held in tribute to Steve Irwin. I guess he had enjoyed his life and made many others happy. It was ironic he was killed by wildlife, but it was most luckily not a crocodile. I'll miss him shouting, "Crikey!"
