I loved watching his show from time to time, but he will be missed.
Firefly3DI just heard about it a couple minutes ago, it’s already all over the net even his wikipedia page.
Anyone who has seen his show has probably thought to themselves at some point that he’s going to get himself killed one day, but when it finally did happen I found it abit hard to believe.

I wasn't a big fan, but he did some good work. It was a sure thing he was going to have an animal accident, but a sting ray... I find it a bit lame, not only because it's an animal that's not agressive, but didn't they had any antidotes with them?

I don't think antidotes for stingray venom exist, most because this venom isn't dangerous...Steve died because he received the venom directly in the heart, causing its failure; even if it was orange juice he would have died likewise.

Yeah I was really sad when I heard the bad news. Couldn't believe it.
I'm gonna miss him, even though I didn't really watch his show, he was a good guy. :(

Many people have no idea how much he contributed to animal conservation and zoological education. Though I didn't watch his show too much, he will certainly be missed.

DiomaNo offense, but you guys don't know much about stingrays do you? The barb points back/up from the base of the tail. Whipping the tail would barely cause the spine to move. Steve-o crashed into the ray, plane and simple.

I didn't understand at least half of that you have written, only some things maybe (that for you all the animals are only meat, and that you shouldn't care for a dead person, because you can't change the fact that he/she is dead).
