So, has anyone read Angel Sanctuary? If you haven't, you really should, because it's really good manga with great art.

It tells about Setsuna, troubled teenager who is in love with his sister Sara. Setsuna is also reincarnation of great angel Alexiel, who was in love with God, and then rebelled against him, so now her body is captured in angel crystal and her soul is in different people, this time it's Setsuna. The art of this manga is soo great, and I really like the story.

But it's kinda long, something like 20 volumes. But yeah, I like it. I have read now like 14 volumes, and I want more. My fav characters are Rosiel and Mad Hatter. Oh, and Alexiel, I think that se is the most beautiful manga character in the world. *__*

I'm kinda interested in it, so I want to look at the first volume...
The fact that he's in love with his sister makes me really NOT want to, though.

Does anyone know where I can find this manga? It sounds rather interesting... But I also agree with Cojir0.

Well i hate it, its just bad you know (for me), i don´t like the kind of the art, but the story is pretty good, well i read it because of the good story, bad after that my eyes hurt from the art

I read all the volums. its one of the best mangas i ever read too. tho its too confussing at times... and you really need to think while reading it [its not a manga you can read to relax your head, lets say]. Think its the best manga of Kaori Yuki... she really made a good job with it! and those characters.. afcourse you have to get used to this kind of art but they're not so bad! look on the artbook so example... bought one myself _-_... i hope ill find time to read it once more, couse i feel like i missed smthg in the story... and tahts quite possible couse theres a lot of things happening! you cant get bored with it

I love kaori yuki's manga, she's the BEST mangaka! I love her, Angel Sanctuary and God Child is my favb manga from her!

Hya, I managed to find this topic. I knew it existed, the manga is great after all, so it must have a topic^^ Ok, what were the problems with? Let's see.
Art, love theme and the length...

First, the art. (this will be only my opinion!!) I love how the characters look like, they are all gorgeous and pretty. You know, the amount of details is amazing. Ok, many times there are males who look like females but I think it can be got used to easily.
(e.g. Ludwig Kakumei's Ludwig is more freaking than these characters ^^ ok, I love Ludwig ^^)

Secondly, the love theme... It is true that it is between brother and sister. But I think it makes it more interesting. If you can put this fact aside, you'll get a really nice and thrilling story.

Finally, the lenght. It is only 20 volumes.
You know, there are Inuyasha, Bleach, Naruto, Tsubasa RC that are very very much longer than this. So I think it really can't be sorted into the longest manga's group ^^

I've heard that in the US, this manga isn't really popular while here in my country and I think in Germany, it Is popular. In the US, Fruits basket is more popular than AS but here if the publisher wanted to release FruitsB, it may not got sold out easily. But here AS is like sugar, people are very enthusiastic about it ^^
I don't know why but that is how it is.

I like this manga very much, along with all the other Kaori Yuki's works. From her, it is the No1. ^^ It is really good to read, a lot of fact about hierarchy and other stuff.
