Here in serbia people who dont like anime say that they are for children and that kinda stuff...It really annoys me...
Some people think im wierd because i watch anime...They shouldnt judge other ppls taste...I think that everyone can watch what they want...
What do you think about them?

Well, you can't do much about other people's opinion, so just leave it be and don't make a huge fuss over it. If people think anime are for kids, who cares -- it doesn't mean we can't watch it because we're not kids. To each his own. :) Besides, some people think other people are "weird" for doing all other things anyway.

Someone i know says anime is "cheap drawings", together with some other strong words. But that person also says that its only their oppinion and it doesnt matter. Realy, its only their oppinion and so long they dont do anything bad to you just leave it.
But those that watch it every time it comes on and then say that its bad (i know a few of those too) really got a problem.

Well, over here in the U.S. the whole "Anime is just cheap cartoons" thing runs rampant because people see animation and think Buggs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse ect. While there's nothing wrong with Looney Toons (I grew up on it, heh) most people are impressionable idiots ready to slap a stereotype on something at the slightest whim. It never occurs to them that although two things look similar, that they could in fact be a world apart.
They don't see "Anime" they see "Cartoon" simply because they're narrow-minded. I'm not saying everyone who dislikes anime is a moron, I'm just generalizing here (Aren't I a hypocrite?). It just strikes a nerve when people shun something without giving it a chance, but hey, it's their loss. Not mine.

Same here, ~120 students goes to my school, and 3 of them (plus me) are anime fans. The rest, especially my classmates are all making fun of manga & anime - they say it's so boring and perverted... They also say, all anime are same as Pokemon, etc.. Well, I can guess, they watched all animes. Cool! BTW, my whole class teases me, and they are saying cruel things about Japanese music. Well, but I somehow endure it all. ^_^;

They say that Anime and regular cartoons are the same but they arent...They put anime and cartoons in the same box and that is wrong...
The worst thing is when they say "Im too old to watch cartoons".You are never too old to watch them...

I think that they're weird ^^ because i just love anime xD, i cant believe some people thinks that's boring? wtf? xD well we have to respect their opinion anyway u.u ..

I have a lot of anime fans in my school, and there is even an anime club! (which for some reason I don't know where to join -_-) People are entitled to their own opinion, but just let them think anime is for kids, and waste their time on the plots that are american cartoons. I like anime because it has awesoem stories, and cool characters and sometiems they get so complicated, and the action and love, is so nice. But if they think that's stupid...
They should just watch awesome animes and see if they like it. But not dubs, cause I think some dubs cut things out, so, you know, to get them hooked. :lol:

I forced a mate ti watch an anime. in the end, he still though they were stupid. so sod it. i 'll watch what i like who wants to be seen as normaly anyway. thats not fun
I think people can watch whatever they want too, but then again there are always gonna be people who try to impose their thoughts and their own beliefs on other people, so I guess the best that we can do is ignore them ^_^.
There is much people and... they NEVER will be in one opinion.

Well, actually lots of people don't like anime...especially parents..they make me sick but it's OK,,, because the truth is that lots of people loves anime,,& they don't know what the true anime is... Just let them what they want to say, don't matter if you allready know the truth...

People who have no originality and who hate other cultures. they label people too much, people should do what they want and be free to do what they want. that is my opinion.
