Good program to delete viruses
If not you can download and install a free one such as AVG.
Another one is Avast, which I've heard good things about but never used.
And another free one is AntiVir, which I also haven't used.
On my computer (Windows) I run Sophos though it's not free, I've also had experience with Norton Anti-Virus which caused more problems than it solved. I ditched Norton after they deactivated my legal copy then wanted to charge me for a phone call to sort the problem out.

Seriously though, you should have an anti-virus program on your computer.
Try it and you'll see.
Anyway, format everything and it will be clear & proper ;-)
eddieroolzI trust Norton AntiVirus.
...to attempt to wrench all semblence of control away from the user and to cause as many problems as it prevents in doing so.
Best thing Norton did was when they deactivated my copy (which was completely legal), once it was uninstalled the computer was far more responsive and crashed a lot less. And I certainly don't miss all the "waiting to scan file" pop-ups that slowed my system to a crawl.
Saka4Rob10I think that Kaspersky is a good one too; i use it since my first computer and it had never disappointed me.
Try it and you'll see.
I've heard good things about Kaspersky, if I hadn't been given Sophos I would have probably bought Kaspersky.

can try a 30day trial of spysweeper www.webroot.com/dell just update it an scan your comp, see if it helps
hijack this is good if you know what your doing as well,
as for free apps there's always spybot (www.safter-networking.net) and adaware (www.lavasoftusa.com) both are ok apps for removal / finding items an they both have free items (you can download'm from www.download.com as well)
as for antivirus i find free avg better than norton or mcafee lmao, mcafee, and norton like messing up and locking you out of crap for no apparent reason, not to mention even after you uninstall them, half of there services continue to run on your computer sucking up reasources for no reason whatsoever
