Well, this is my first time making a wallpaper so I hope you all like it?

I couldn't think of a better title and if anyone does then please tell me ^^;;

This took me about 3 hours..which is quite slow I guess but yesu~ This is the original picture which my friend did~ (or at least she told me she did ^^;;) but I just HAD to use it~ its so adorable!!

Again, I am a newbie at all this so please bear with me and leave a comment on things i need to change and what not =D I would like to actually like the submit it one day..or at least see my wallpapers on the site hehe

Well, hey there! i'll take coffee with cream ^^
let's start from the beginning: the extraction is really good, i didn't notice anything bad about that.
as for the background, i think you should make some changes. you see, those flowers looks really nice, but since the entire background is filled with them, it kinda looks too crowded - so, it's not exactly desktop friendly. i mean, you don't need to remove those flowers, but you should make a different bg, maybe use some brushes, and combine that with the flowers.
i hope this was helpful (and i hope i didn't sound too harsh!). if you'll have more questions, just ask! ^^

Excellent work, but the flower background needs more variation, or maybe changed altogether (like mewchoochoo said..) Try something with a bit more depth.

The purple somehow matches the scan well.. :-)
Text is good too

Maybe try fading out the background with white in areas, around the text and behind the character. Soft, not too harsh.

Your friend did that?? o.O wtf is she doing not working for a studio?? XD haha but hm it's a nice concept...but the background just looks like massive brush-whoring. The background seems pretty monochromatic, so if you could spice it up a bit, it'd be really nice...also, the text is REALLY hard to read...If you could find some way to give a background of some sort or something, it'd be really nice. Nice job so far though!
