Pokemon. Why do people hate them?

Oi. Why is it that almost EVERYBODY hate Pokemon? Is it because all of the little kids like it or what? Yeah ,I admit that I find it corny sometimes but I would like to hear what you have to say on the matter.

I watched it when I was a child...the first part is good...but everything has limits x.x it's like...10 years of pokemon? and it hasn't ended yet!
I know !! i personally still like pokemon its awesome but my other freinds hate it because they think theyve grown up and are now into things like counterstrike and such. but mainly people dislike pokemon for the cornines-ess of it and plus- IT NEVER ENDS thats probably why people h8 it so.

The characters are cute but yeah it goes on FOREVER!!! Plus its cheesy and kind of corny..
The game was good, the show was ok, and the trading card game was addicting! But pokemon was something that was esay to outgrow.
I personally like the idea of the game pokemon. But not so much the anime. But i really think the games could be done so much better, it feels like the producers of the games and the anime are just being lazy and trying to milk all they can without giving much effort. That's what pisses me off about pokemon.

It's not that people start to hate it to me, but they just outgrow it. Pokemon doesn't stop because kids don't stop coming. It targets young kids, so they keep making series to show off to kids. Those kids will like Pokemon or at least a certain audience will. I actually still like the movies (a lot) and I'll watch the series some days. It's not as bad as people make it, but I don't watch it like I used to either.

Episodes was great when first released but then it got corny and stupid. Plus its annoying and repetitive now

I haven't watched the series or read any of the books that have come out in recent years, but I remember being really addicted to the games. I guess people dislike it because the games do become repetitive (objective: collect all the Pokemon you can) and...well...everybody else hates it. >_>

Well, if you haven't noticed yet, Pokemon is a 30 minute commercial. And it was designed that way. For one thing, the people who created Pokemon poured money into researching the targeted age (kids). Everything that deals with Pokemon is collecting related. For instance, Pokemon cards. The Pokemon games are about you getting EVERY SINGLE POKEMON. Hell, even the TV show has the, "Gotta Catch 'em all," theme. What's worse is that in every episode, they reveal some new cute and furry thingy that they're trying to get. Concequently, little kids will want to get it too.
