Hello everyone today i want to talk about one of my personal favorites Maburaho.
man it was love at first sight ( i dont mean it literally ),
well anyway, just imagine you are a wizard and you have a limited amout of times that you can use magic and if you use all of them you die, crazy huh.
The serie talks about this guy called Skimori Kauski he is the worst of the worst he can only use magic 8 times, but the thing is that he is a decendant of the greates wizards in the world including Harry Potter if you dont believe me watch the serie " it's in the last episode by the way", when the school finds out all the girls want to have his genes, but there is this girl Yuna that she promise him that she was going to marry him when they were grown ups.
It is a pretty cool serie its full of twist and turns that you will never lnow what is going to happen
see it you wont regret it

Yeh I agree, it's a really good series, quite funny at times too! it was ages ago I watched that but I loved the lil ghost girl from that house who thinks the blonde ones her mum, she's so adoreable! =D

I enchant tapeworm small better wings of anime, mainly to Rin, queria to know if its continuous manga being published in Japan, and whichever volumes are until now, me servira much the information.

Maburaho! yay! its real funny and adorable! but there is another post like this already.

When I first read about the plotline for Maburaho, I was going to pass it up. I'm glad that I took a chance on this however, because I really liked the series. I liked all of the characters, except Yuna started to piss me off in the latter part of series. Two of my favorite episodes were when Kazuki used the last of his magic, and the one with the Cinderella party.
Maburaho is a great series but it annoyed a little when Yuna got all possessive near the end, but it was a great series.
The series was okay but it dragged on to long in the middle it just never got to a point for about 10episodes that made me want to chuck it out the window but did finish it and alas nice ending.
Maburaho is seriously a really funny anime. I like the art. Its clean (but not crisp ><"). I also like the character's expression. But yea... Its seriously a funny anime and a interesting love story (if any actual love takes place).

Ah..it was fun while it lasted..

I have just started collecting this series and have only seen the first dvd so far. I really liked it! The story is very funny and the artwork very good. Rin would be my favourite character. I get the feeling that the landlady who wears black and a veil all the time, knows more than she is telling too! I like the doctor as well. He also seems to have more than one secret to him, making him a very interesting character to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series turns out (and how much of the school the students leave standing!)
Apparently, I'll have to be the dissenter. Even though I own all of Maburaho and rather enjoyed it, Kazuki Shikimori is the most pathetic wretch of a creature since that piece of living refuse who Steel Angel Kurumi loves in the first series. I mean, he sacrifices an eighth of his life for a BENTO, a fricking BENTO!! When you have such a low regard for your own life that you think it's worth sacrificing for a boxed lunch that isn't even any good, then you lose my sympathy. The series was much better towards the end once he was already dead and they were trying to bring him back, because all of the girls are especially fun.
Love this series, funny, warm fuzzy anime :D

I disagree, it was the worst harem anime I ever saw, the characters are so much esteriotyped that one would need to add "Maburaho" as a new level for character under-development. Yuna is also a new term for "Annoying and stupid". Finally, the script and plot is so clichéd you wonder why they even did 26 episodes of this when you DO know what is going to happen the moment you watch the first episode, and when that happens, you also DO know what is going to happen to solve the problem.
I always think "calm down, it's not about the cliché or the over-over-over-overused plot, but about how it's done, the pacing, the way the director do it, so give it a change" ... than again, new disapointment, nothing new, actually, I felt betrayed as they underdevelop all other characters except stupid Yuna. Even Vandread and stupid Ditah had enough focus on the other harem-girls to make that watchable.
