anime in Chinatown

I went to Chinatown the other day with my buddies. I was glad because I think I may have gotten something cool, but I didn't know what it was until I put it in my player. I thought it was one of the OVA specials for the Tenchi Muyo series, but it turns out, as it seems, to be an entire DVD of bonus features for the GXP series. The DVD cover is all Japanese with an image of Ryo-Chan (human form) holding Ryo-oh-ki in cabbit form. The price? $8.00
I think I like going to Chinatown. ^_^

Maybe you bought some illegal Hong Kong Copies, which is no wonder why they are so cheap ^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^ ...
As was said above, it's more than likely a Hong Kong import which are not legal copies. If the DVD doesn't have a regional restriction code, then it's probably a bootleg. Also, bootlegs usually have mediocre to poor subtitling on them.
The prices are suppose to be cheap in Chinatown and China. Since i am chinese, i have been to China and they sell things really cheap there which is great. xD
Not worth it.
Sure, you can buy some of the harder to get series, but most of the time, some of the subs are terrible, some of it is in bad colour quality... and some wouldn't last a year.
Believe me. I know. I've worked in a shop that sells bootleg, and it totally opened up my eyes. We need to support anime more. The more we love it, the more we should support it.
Buying bootleg is a waste of money.

Yeah,.... exactly.... the english subtitles suck really ass!! Not only the grammar is wrong, but alos the sentence structure. I bought the 2 Evangelion movies and some Captain Tsubasa DVD-collections as Hong Kong copies and since then never again....
