Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Man i hate the end of a good anime! I always want it to last longer, see what happens next... FLCL, Soul Taker etc... Man, then i gotta look for something els! But i know if they did last longer id start to hate them, like Inuyasha, DBZ and some other ones.(sorry DBZ/Inuyasha fans but there is a point when a show must be stoped!) This isnt just me is it? I cant help wanting more even though i know it would kill the show!

Yes, I feel the same way. However, I believe this thread does not belong in General Discussion. It has a home in the AnimePaper section =T

Ahh, i hate when really good anime ends, too, but all the same, i'm grateful that a good show isn't mucked up by money-hungry idiots stretching out the anime, inu yasha and dbz being really really good examples.

the worst, though, is when a good anime has to end because something happens to a staff member or some other crazy unforeseen circumstance. i can't remember which anime it was but it's definitely upsetting.

I finished up Eureka Seven about two weeks ago . . . and yeah, that feeling off loss hit. But then I just think about all the new awesome anime that will be released in the near future and everything is just dandy.

I was rather irritated when Berserk and 12 Kingdoms concluded, but only because neither one of them actually concluded.

I would have to say that it kind of goes with the whole anime fandom. There will always be that one anime you wish had more, but in the end its just right as is.

Yeah, I always hate the ending of the good animes. ^^ It just like to stop our enjoyment to that anime, that make me mad. ^^ Especially the anime on a daily life like the Fate/Stay Night, Gundam Seed Destiny, etc. ^^ I like to watch their daily life, because it's interesting to be wactched. ^^ But as usual, no anime last for a long time. ^^

Well, anime series are stories, and every story can't last forever! If the series is good, then inevitably its end will be painful: this is a meter of how enjoyable an anime is. That's unavoidable!

Yeah, but if they dragged out everything you'd end up hating this anime.

Also, this is in the wrong section. This should be in the AnimePaper section of the forum.

Maybe I will, and I quite agree with you.if a good anime last too long,it may become worse, like DragonBall,I think the later part, the Great Tour of it is bad,I like the previous parts better, like the story of Freeza and Buu. When I finished watching the Great Tour,I did feel very disappointed.sometimes if a good anime last too short,we will of course feel not enough after finishing, such as the series of Full Metal Panic,I have waited the third season of it for 2 years after finishing its second season, but the third one really last too short.though I feel very satisfied with the last volume of it,there are still many new characters that are not shown really yet and they seems to be done that in the fourth seaso.but the fourth season doesn’t have any news yet.

The best Dragon ball is the first when goku is a little boy. I treminds me when I was little little too. but then all that last too long become bad like Dragon ball and pokemon and digimon and the Simpson.

Well, all good things have to come to an end. It's true we cry for more when a good anime ends. But still, if a good anime continues too long it will lose it novelty but if a good anime ends with a pretty decent length many will remember that this anime was a good one and always be remembered.

Hard to relate to this discussion because i havent watched FLCL, soultaker, DBZ or inuyasha

but from what i've heard, like inuyasha, my classmate was like "WTF?!" cuz the ending wasnt exactly and ending >.> And everyone seems to be talking about FLCL, is it any good? And i've also watched soultaker, god the anime cant be anymore darker -.-

But yeah, anime that end like that are pretty annoying like now, Tsubasa Chronicles, at the end of season 2, i was like, wtf this isnt done yet, if it doesnt end at season 3 by god i might be really pissed. Besides, anyone notice on the first episode, there were like only 30 feathers, then not counting how many they got through episode 2-51, on the last episode alone, they got like 50! (well i know cuz this is anime but cmon!)

and artists who make anime that are unfinished is sort of relating this to life. I mean, if we did and adventure, the story of our life isnt really over yet isnt it? So sometimes this can be ok, sometimes yes if its too good, i do get pissed D:

oh well, i still love it and in a way, unfinished ending is a good start for fanfics :D

Its better to have quality over quantity. Stuff like FLCL is good for the time it lasts but if it were a stretched out series im not sure that GAINAX would be able to keep it as good as it was, and it would probly degrade into utter crap. The same thing with movies like Project AKO and Gal Force where the first movie is good (and in the case of Project AKO, excellent) then the rest following just keep getting worse and worse.
