Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

You may have noticed the Community Waller and Community Scanner status' on AP, well this week we intend to put it to its intended use, if you are still a 'Community Member' please contact an active administrator to get your status changed to the title which defines you correctly. This week we will start enforcing the segregation for approval purposes, so to make sure your wall/scan gets approved instantly make sure your status is correct!

You can check your status on your userpage.

Senior member is for scanners and wallers (i think) so will those change if you only have walls?

What Bantam is referring to is the community statues. There are two community member statuses: community waller and community scanner. If people are just community member, they need to PM a mod/admin so that their status can be changed to either one. We do not have a status for people who only post on the forum at the moment. Right now, we are simply segregating for approval purposes only.

Senior members will not be segregated, as in we trust you enough, or else you wouldn't be promoted in the first place.

I think shikon was asking, about the people that have the status as senior members or community members but have no walls or scans, whats going to happen to those are they gonna get turned into regular members?

Senior Member status will remain the same regardless of walls and/or scans. Senior Members deserve that status so we don't want to take it away! What I mean is that if you are already a Senior Member, your status will not be changed. If senior members start breaking the rules and start uploading illegal stuff to the gallery just because they bypass the queue, their upload ability will be disabled but they won't be demoted. Only in extreme cases do we actually demote somebody.

Got your point, Pink, but I think the question really was, people originally got their community member status for different reasons, like submitting good walls, good scans, or being active in forums & wallpaper comments. With the segregation to Community Waller / Scanner, what becomes of the last group of people? *jolynda comes to mind as one such example. Do they arbitrarily select one of the two, or what?

This only affects "Community Member"s so your status is not affected.

Those people will have to be patient since right now we are simply segregating for approval purposes. They'll still have the Community Member status for now, but I believe that they won't be able to bypass the queue anymore for neither scans nor wallpapers. At least, the plausible approach is for their status to remain the same but without the approval queue bypassing.

Bantam will have to clarify on this.

I am afraid I don't know who to go to change my status? Should I just PM a administrator about it or should I just wait and let poeple take care of it. The main reason I ask is because I can't find anyplace on my profile where it states what kind of memeber I am.

You don't need to. This only affects Community Members. And you profile states that you are a Member. Clear cut as that.

You are an ordinary member, not a community member. This will not affect you, so there is no need for you to do anything at all.

@ Pink, thanks for the explaination. If I understand correctly, they won't get submission queue bypass, but other benefits such as unlimited wall DLs will remain. Makes sense. ^^

Interesting. So.. Anyway, as some may know I have been.. Demoted.. I think.
For not following the scans rules, and I was set to a Community Waller. However, just a day ago, i got my Senior Member status back.
So, was it effected by this? Or was it just my submitions? lol.

Anyhow, i understand what you are doing, and i think its great!

Hmm what does it take anyway to get senior waller, senior scanner etc. ? Is it due to submissions, upgraded by other members, wallpaper ratings?
