Which one came first? the chicken or the egg. give me a good reason why you think it is. try not to use google finding the answer. "it may or may not have an answer." : )

In my opinion, I think the egg comes first.
According to evolution, well at least my reasoning. The ancestors of the chicken mated and created a "chicken" that is xx% close to the modern chicken. Then that "chicken" mated with another "chicken" and created another chicken that is closer to the modern chicken. This process repeated until a 99% chicken and a 99% chicken mate and lay an egg that is modern chicken. Again...this is my opinion.

In my opinion chick come first than chicken than egg than chick than chicken than egg than chick than chicken than egg it an un ending recycle so no1 know wich 1 come first ever. XD but i do love to eat chicken :p
The chicken came first. According to the bible along with Adam and Eve came animals as well. There would be no egg without a chicken, because having just an egg without wondering where it came from wouldn't be sufficient.

Chicken Ofcours n_n
Hmm, science vs. religion
I think the egg was first, same reason as 0saka basicly.
Orr... the chicken *came* and she got pregnant. I dunno :P
Mehh...

I think neither of them, because if the chicken came first that whould mean that she was an egg before a chicken if it was viceversa then who put the damn egg?
If you are asking in general what came first, the chicken of the egg, I would say it has to be the egg.. Since you did not specify what type of egg. The dinosaurs liad eggs even before chickens evolved. So the egg came first!
If the case were "what came first, the chicken of it's egg?" then I would say it would be the chicken. After years of evolution, the chicken came to be and laid it's egg, the first chicken egg. If that were the case, the chicken came first! Well, that was scientifically speaking.. xD

*pushes his glasses up with a smirk*
This is a little sneaky, and will probably be locked. As you can see, this sort of discussion quickly devolves into a science vs. religion issue (or as I say evolution vs. magic).
The problem with the argument is the lack of veracity on one side, and the lack of faith on the other side. I side with the scientists, as I don't believe that the Sumerian mythos of the original man and woman is applicable to the life of yonder chicken dinner.
However, I take a much more amusing angle on the discussion and ask that if the creature that laid the "chicken egg" was evolutionarily close enough to have "begat" (I love that word. Too bad it's not in use now.) a chicken, would that BE a chicken by another name. What I mean is demonstrable by the association of humanity with Cro (insert latin word) breeds of man. We don't call those "humans", even though for many arguable reasons they are humanoid. I think the chicken would have come first simply for the fact that until it hatched, we didn't call the egg a "chicken egg". Does that make sense? Until the first Homo Sapiens Sapiens was born, we were not really "humans", but a "humanoid". So that baby wouldn't be called a "human" until it was labeled as such, right? So the eggs of the mother "humanoid" weren't humans until they were . . . *ahem* . . . hatched, right? Weird, and cool to think about.

In my opinion, the human phylosofy come first, because with out human, there is nobody know where are chicken and eggs, and nobody know what is " first" if nobody know that, it`s means it`s not be there for us, if you have a cientific mind, you will tell me, if there is no human ,not means the chicken and eggs dont existing.so i can ask you , if you dont have seen the ghost, then ghost is existing?and i am sure that all cientific investigator will tell me that ghost is no real, because i cant see them, so , in acording whith theirs theoric, the chicken and eggs is not real before the human existence...

The egg dinosours laid eggs long before the first chicken had ever seen the daylight.
Ok.
I am the saviour in this arguement. The Cheggin Came first. this was a creature which magically appeared and laid an egg which, in effect removed the "egg" from its name so become a Chicken.
Therefore, the chiken and the egg came at the same time.
All thanks to the Cheggin.

Of course chicken, God creted of nothing all things but maybe a scientist will tell that first not chicken and no egg. Maybe a Flyiing dinosaur or a reptile.
I can´t decied which one who came first I try to think out a good answer time after time but it dosen´t matter how much I think of it I still can´t figure it out because none of it seems logically to me.
