I haven't really got familiarized with Death Note, though I love how the characters look like. I want to read it too ever since I heard of it x)

I love death Note, especially when they unravel the plan. i like it when raito uses the note to kill people. Muahahah! I like L, reminds me of a monkey though. He's cute. I hate Misa, she's just so stupid, letting her being played around by raito blindly. I think she'll die soon. this is such an intelligent manga! I was soo happy when I finally get to read it. At last, something intelligent to read. I love the plot with so many twists.

I read volume 1 and I don't know what to say.....I'm just speechless right now........Hmmmmmm.........Actually, I thought Death Note was really good. Good story, good art,and has a dark feeling in it. My review: For art: I wouldgive it a 10/10,, for story 9/10, for originality a 11/10, for overall, a 10/10........Wait, actually, a 100/100.No-no-no....an A+++++++++++++++++. Thats whow much I enjoyed Death Note: A LOT!!

Although it contains fantasy elements (death gods, the book of death...) The way things and the minds of the characters work is meant to have a lot of sense in every way. It's interesting how Light plays with people emotions and thoughts and gets challenged by L. Maybe it's a little dense sometimes, but it's a manga worth of being on our shelves. Definitely NOT for kids.

Deathnote is amazing. The art is really well done, and the story is upredictable... won't put any spoilers in, but its fairly real, not the whole deathnote thing, but what happens to people when they recieve power. It really goes to show how people act in the face of power, or even those that hold the power. People change. What really captivated me was the thinking involved, why each character did what they did and why they did it in that fashion. Light and L are just awsome, so smart. Too bad the manga comes out rather slowly, or at all even.
I loved the first pages I saw, but I get tired of scanlations real quickly. I'll just wait for the French translate it for real and sell it (they say they're still negociating or something though.)
