Hi! I'm Yume-chan & I love to make anime/manga/game wallpaper! ^_^ I found this site when someone mentioned it it other forum so I try to check it out. The wallpapers here are so nice & the scans too! ^^ I tried a lot of other art sites but they rejected my walls because of the copyright or the wall is too simple. And this site doesn't have something like this, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. ^^ And I can't seems to watch the flash animation. ;_; Anyway, nice to meet you guys/gals! ^V^

Welcome to Animepaper! I hope that you enjoy your stay here with us, however long it may be. For questions regarding the site and how things work around here, please consult the AP Guide. You don't have to worry too much about your wallpaper being simple. There are plenty of wallpapers here that are less grandious in design than others, and they still come out beautifully. Your presentation is what counts. As for copyright, as stated in the AP Guide:

1. Wallpaper Ripping

If the wallpaper is not yours do not post it, doing so will earn you a ban. Theres nothing wallers hate more than having someone else claim their work as their own.

Sharing a wallpaper that you are crazy about is also not an excuse for uploading other peoples wallpapers. If a wallpaper is not made by you, dont upload it.

In order that your wallpapers are clearly identifiable as yours, please ensure that you include a signature. Walls without signatures or with signatures that do not match the username of the person uploading will be deleted on site by moderators and admins. You must also include a description to help prevent any confusion.

3. Sources

Do not use other peopleâ??s wallpapers to make your own.

Do not modify other peoples wallpapers and call it your own. Examples would be as follows:

* Altering the colour.
* Applying filters/brush effects over an existing wallpaper.
* Placing another extracted character over the existing character.
* Extracting a character from another wallpaper.

Similarly, dont just slap a scan on top of a stock and call it a wall.

Where you have used stocks and brushes please pay careful attention to any stated terms of use.

Yeeeeeah!! >.< I just get my walls rejected too =.= And they keep telling me they're so childish or whatever ^^U (it's a bit shameful but xDDD).
I hope they accept any of my walls someday xDD (and yours!! ^^)
But if you don't make it to have them upload... I'd like to see them ^o^ You could send them to me if you like... And I'd tell you if I like them or not... (sure I do ^w^)

Since you are new, please read the AP Guide. The information it contains will help you a lot around the site. Just click on the picture (Of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion) on the right with the words AP Guide on it. Alternatively you can click on FAQs. Both take you to the same place.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me. I will try my best to help in any way I am able to.

I think simple walls are fine, it's just how you designed it. I've seen plenty of wallpapers around that are simple but really nice. Like EarlyDays posted, that should help you.
Also, make sure they meet the requirements BEFORE uploading them. The requirements are found in the AP Guide, under the Wallpapers section. If your wallpaper does not meet the requirements, it will be rejected and you will lose 100papers for each one you tried to submit.
If you have already read the AP Guide, but you are still not sure if your wallpaper meets the requirements, then you can ask around on the Session Zero board. The people there will not only tell you if it meets the requirements, they will also gladly provide you with suggestions and advice on how to improve it! =)

there're some requirements to be met and not meeting them will result in paper loss...
