This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Well just the topic title said, would you read the manga after watching the anime version?

well because most anime story came from the manga right? just want to hear some opinions... its like I watch a lot of animes and there are mangas of those anime that I can get... so would it be good for me to buy the manga after already watching the anime?

It would depend on what it was. I think it's good if you want to find out differences between the anime and manga, or you just really enjoyed it that much, although I personally wouldn't do it unless I was just so in love with the story that I'd be willing to read it again. I'm so lazy. XD Although I make exceptions, like when the manga is COMPLETELY different from the anime. Then I'd be more willing to read it.

I'm like Shio; I would generally read the manga first, not the other way around. Most of the time a lot gets "lost in translation" going from manga to anime.

Like few of the others, I do the manga first, then anime later.

Which usually results in disappointment.

For me I would prefer to read the manga first since the anime usually squeeze whatever they can in an half hour, and that usually means that parts of the manga are not going to be there. That's a disappointment for me because sometimes the anime doesn't have some of my favorite parts from the manga. Just like Tsuyogari said: "It gets lost in translation".

There are times when I watched the anime first like for Full Metal Panic, and I picked up the manga and got kind of bored. I prefer the anime of FMP to the manga because it's generally the same but I'm pretty sure I missed a whole lot of parts (I'm a lazy person). And just like Hisoka, if the storylines of the anime and manga are totally different then I would watch the anime and also pick up the manga.

Nope, cause raeding the manga gets boring, thats why i have stopped downloading the manga, and go straight for the anime

I usually watch anime first and then the manga. It's a lot less disappointing that way because when you watch the anime after reading the manga you expect the anime to be just like the manga. When you see the anime first you're not expecting anything out of it, so you can enjoy both manga and anime.

I usually read the manga first & then buy the anime from that, but i would still read the manga after watching the anime because mangas are always better.

I only read the manga if the anime is lacking. That's actually how I got into manga. I started reading Love Hina because people told me it had more detail. The ending of Kare Kano was really bad too so I started to read the manga to find a better ending. I generally find that the manga is better than the anime counterpart so start with the anime if you can.

Maybe yes and maybe no. I like to hear people's opinion before i see the manga after i watch the anime. Is the manga is better than the anime or not.
