Basically I think the manga is better than the anime. I mean like they're both equal but the manga man, it's ReALLY FAR! The anime is just on the beginning of the captain battles! ( The Sexiest part of the whole series so far) ) it will probably last for 5 episodes. Who knows, but I can't just sit my ass here and wait for Lunar Anime to Sub that series! Just waiting every week for a new episode makes me irritated =_=. So yea, basically, the anime is in a pinned spot that everyone in Bleach will be very fond of. Any opinions who watch manga/anime? Please share!

manga is 'okay' but the fight scenes aren't the same without MOVEMENT
someone starting to swing their sword in one frame then the guy's bleeding in the next can't compare to animation of the chunk of flesh coming out of the body and blood squirting out... that and sound effects... hearing the crunch of bones is much more satisfying than reading WHAM! in print :D

im also rootin for anime too, although, like pwnageb0i, im juz sick and tired of waitin for lunar...mite juz change to dattebayo fansub, much faster...
logically, you cant compare da manga and anime, coz if da anime's near da manga, they mite extend the anime untill da manga has reach further....so we juz have to wait patiently....
for example, compare naruto manga and anime....look where's da anime NOW....does it show 3 years later??
besides, juz like what InitialD said, animes had ALL da sounds and effects...that's juz spice things(umm, battles) up

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention the awesome anime music too! it helps 'make' the entire episode like in Bleach or Naruto or my personal favourite Initial D :D

Dattebaya subs are pretty good... he gets them out like the next day usually... even if the translation is a tiny bit off you can totally understand it... plus he includes funny comments... like at the beginning of this week's episode he includes his usual funny disclaimer like "Warning: Attempting to achieve Ban-Kai in 2 days is hazardous to your health"

I think the best animes that Trace the manga, are bleach and Naruto...as guys said ..actions and the sounds are important in anime which you can feel them..not in manga...

about the manga, drawing style is abiding..but in anime..you see sometimes in some episodes..the drawing is changing.. like bleach ep 41, I coudn't enjoy some of the Scenes, because of the drawing- _-

Also, what i like about bleach anime, they merger some stories together like bleach ep 9, 10 ..when the shingami appeared to Investigate of Rukia's matter...in manga is diffrent..

Well I firstly stammbled upon the anime series 1&1/2 years ago
I thought:<<What the hell, let's download one eps., it ain't gonna hurt>>
Thank god I downloaded that eps.
After I watched it I downloaded all available ones
[I think at that point it was up to 24 or something]
and watched all of them in a week
[not an easy task to hang in there for a week, I just wanted to see each one after another!]
After that I searched for manga resources
That's when the Bleach frenzie caught up with me, or I with her...
I started reading like a mad man till about the Ichigo BanKai Phase
Till now, I wait patiently every Wednesday/Thursday/Friday for Raws snd Subs for both Manga and Anime
I think the series is a masterpiece
Kubo Tite is of course a very skillfull man

Both anime and manga have a very good plot and animation
[most of the times the anime copies the manga exactly in the drawings...]
I personally can't separate manga from anime...

I havent seen all the anime of it thats out, but i personally like the manga better. i like the manga better of everything just about though. x] but the manga is fun..more fun. but i do love watching the openings when i watch the anime. xD

I haven't really read manga, but I have read some like Hikaru No Go and Naruto. I've watched the anime versions of those and those were more exciting to me since I can see every movement and the interesting sounds. Manga books are quiet, it doesn't seem to make it suspenseful enough.

I think they did the anime so dammm WELL... i thought in the beginnin it be ok.. but the way they made the anime blew me away.. its soo dam unique.. ya the manga is sooo far away.. but the anime is goin along very smoothly.. probably the only thing i hab to complain about the anime.. is that one part.. where orihime gets hit by the car.. and ichigo asks if he could take her home.. that whole scene.. iand the part where shes talks about it with tatsuki.. and the manga.. it makes it very obvious that orihime likes ichigo... but in the anime.. its pretty vague about it.. in parts here and there.. the manga points it out that she likes him.. but in the anime.. it doesnt.. if you read and watch.. you will know what i am talkin about.. other then that.. the anime is awesome..

Both Manga and Anime are fine, but personally I prefer the anime. My reasons are basically the same is InitialD's, needing the sound effects and the agile movements in the fighting. It's really hard to illustrate the fighting in a manga so anime all the way. Yeah, the anime is a bit slow, but it's worth it in the end (except for the fillers involving Ichigo's sisters...).

I'm actually following both, but the manga's so far ahead of the anime, that when I watch the new eps that have been coming out, I've practically forgotten what's happened.

That being said, what people are saying about the anime being a little slow-paced is very true. It's definitely a show to be marathoned. I've been showing my roomie the anime, and we watched three eps tonight. I still remember the pain of waiting a week between those eps (especially since one was kinda filler-esque). It's starting to pick up, but the anime is going to catch up with the manga no time soon.

I choose manga! Because, from what i see, all anime start from a manga!
But, manga picture is not moving like anime right? But, actually I don't know, BLEACH start from anime or manga!
But I like BLEACH at manga than at he anime.. Hehehehe...

I like both anime and manga! BLEACH's NO. 1! Hehehe...

Erm, personally i think anime is better, although i watch and read both the anime and manga.
I know the manga series had shown further than the anime but the anime graphics are good. Especially ths music, i bleach's music is super nice. I have been wanting to own all the OSTs. :D

I think mangas with the same animes turn out to be better then the anime in my opinion. why? because in most anime's they leave out some of the greatest details that are in the mangas. my opinion though. and i gotta say the bleach the manga is better then the anime. as for naruto, the manga looks waaaaay better. the characters in the manga look way better then in the anime. didja see gaara?! he looks messed up in the anime and so cool in the manga! well as i said before, just my opinion...

btw, the reason why the manga for bleach is farther is because it wsa made first. without the manga, there might have not been the anime...
