Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Frequently Lost Items

Well, most of us have a tendency to lose or misplace certain items. After a few years of losing them, I have certain precautions that I take now. For example, I never buy/wear nice gloves. Because I will get up on the subway and leave them like an idiot. I have to buy long umbrellas that are the size of a gazeebo because I sit with my hands resting on the top of the handle, guaranteeing that I won't lose it in my morning commute. My keys, pocketchange, moneyclip go right into my desk valet when I get home so that I don't go on a long hunt in the morning. But even so, things occasionally go horribly wrong if I change my normal routine in even the slightest way.

Sunglasses. I love expensive sunglasses. But I lose them pretty often. I almost lost my newest pair at a restauraunt this Friday. I realized after my second bus switchover and had to jump off and take a cab all the way back. Another time, I searched my dorm room thoroughly several times trying to trace my steps backwards, and they were sitting on my head the whole time. Yeah, pretty embarrassing.

So what are items that you lose with a fair amount of frequency? Homework (yeah right), cigarette lighters, favorite pens, hats, paperback novels, web addresses, your mind, or your young niece? Have an amusing story to tell? <edit> After reading Hamstersanonymous' post, which I found really amusing, lets expand the topic to include just plain forgetfullness. Like the way I will forget someone's name mere minutes after being introduced.

Well, I do lose my homework and my mind. How about sleep? I lose a lot of that, does that count? =Þ

Well actually there's something that I forget quite frequently, although it isn't technically losing anything - I have a tendency to forget about the tissue paper I have in my pockets, leaving them there when I change out of my clothes... and then they go in the wash, and mess up the whole load in the washing machine with fluff. Eheh.

The most ridiculous story I have is of the time when me and my schoolmates were taking a group of exchange students sightseeing. I "lost" my exhange partner and ran around a couple-mile stretch looking for him, and eventually 'found' him back with the rest of the group. That was really silly.

Well, that's my story. Next please!

well, for me, I lose the most often items:
Cigarette lighters, yes, one day, it was in my pocket and a trip to the outside, gone.
I lost my favorite cap just two days back...god knows how?
Homework...never...it is like a deadlock, and it will always be there...so sucky.
Web Adresses, occasionally, cause i bookmark 300 pages of materials.
I once lost my pants...seriously, I lost them in the laundry.
and then pens, yes, my most expensive gel ink pen...lost!
and then wanna know what? I also lost my cigarettes...the second most precious thing to me (though bad) lost, it was on the table or in the car, it just dissapears.

I seem to always loose my hair brushes... on yea and my hair ties. I am convinced that God takes them and hids them and makes my try to find them like the game you play when you put tape on your cat. Not funny for him but so funny to watch :)

Well, I have a tendancey to lose my lighters all the time, but I always end up with a bunch that are not mine, like the other day I had three lightedrs in my jacket, but none of them were the one I had started with on friday. Now no one will trust me with their lighters, it's kinda funny. It's not like I try to steal them or anything, I just put them in my pocket and forget about them.

The other thing I used to lose all the time is my goddamn backpack, I honestly think someone is stealing them from me, I've lost like five of em, it really sucks. I also have lost all the wallets I've ever had my entire life, so like three or something, I pretty much just lose everything, School ID, homework, Driving permit, girl frineds, friends the only thing I can think of that I've never misplaced is my smokes, I might lose my lighter, but I never seem to lose my smokes, I think thats a bad sign.. oh well..

Hmm.. I tend to misplace my textbooks and notebooks most often but rarely ever misplace my keys. Yeah, papers tend to go missing only to later find them sitting so innocently on my desk along with all my other papers. -_-

I don't know if you'd actually call it "losing something", but there was a time where I forgot the password to get into my computer, which is about as secure as Alcatraz regarding unwanted people looking through my stuff. I panicked and sat around trying to remember for about an hour. Stuff like that happens to me all the time, forgetting passwords to older, not so frequently used things.

There's also many times where I'll lose important discs, such as installations or backups. Yeah yeah, I'm a computer turbo-nerd. But, other than things like that, I can't remember a time where I frequently lose something major. Oh! I do remember a time when I was a child, I was looking everywhere for a favorite Spiderman toy, and remembered that I sold it in a garage sale. Sad times. Live on, Mister Parker!

The thing that I lose the most frequently would be my bus tickets. I dunno why, but I always keep losing them, and I only just realize I don't have them on my when I have to go catch my bus when classes are done! I also seem to lose my student ID once in a while as well, and they always turn up at the weirdest places, as someone would find them and either phone the univesity so they can contact me and tell me where it is. Other stuff I lose are pens, pencils, and hair ties. Losing assignments as well, seem to happen to me once in a while, as well as email addresses, and phone numbers. But thats basically all for me

I loose my marbles all the time (they're lost right now, so if you can find, let me know!) I always loose bits and piece of cosplay stuff at conventions; one time I lost a shoe, while I was wearing it, it fell off or something and I still haven't found it....

Forgetfulness story: When I was in high school, I was in the marching band and part of our uniform required that we wear black socks. Well, I was almost ready and I realized that I still had my white socks on and completely forgot to bring black socks. Fortunately, my friend had all her art supplies with her and we used acrylic paint to paint them black^^ That was definately interesting.

Where I go to college, everyone has a student ID card. Now this card basically does everything for you. You use it to get food, get access to the gym, and a bunch of other things. In the 2 years that I've been here, I've lost it like 1000000 times. It's only $5 to get it replaced, but when you've lost it as many times as I have... well it starts to get expensive. lol, it's really starting to piss me off. I'm gonna like glue it to my forehead.
