Hell yeah it does. The OVA's own the shit out of the manga too. The teacher is funny, and so are the students when they're all mad at him in the first eps. Good shit good shit.
When I first saw it, I was surprised by the gore in the anime. While Keitaro gets punched by Naru, Dokuro-chan literally kills Sakura. It makes me think this is a Happy Tree Friends of an anime. The super-deformed face can also be over the top

I've watched the entire series, which consist only in 8 episodes, but more eps would have been too much, I think. Dokuro-Chan is sooo funny, I enjoyed it a lot ^^

So funny this anime XDDD and dokuro chan... so cute/kawaii *0*, poor sakura-kun, but if him dont want his job, i take it XDDD, and of course i enyoed it a lot ^^!!
You just gotta love that episode where someone gets turn into a hollow. (i mean a hole somewhere it should not have been)
it is damn funny, but rather pointless, beside the usage of gore, the story is pathetically sloppy and slapsticky, however, due to that, it is ridiculously and pointlessly entertaining, however, it is nothing to be kept in the shelf, once the novelty has passed after a 2nd round watch, you realize that the characters are plain, beside Dokuro chan that is, the rest has no particular development, and the sudden change of events and abrupt ending is just well...not my cup of tea.

Is soo funny i couldnt stop laughing. I was kinda disapointed that it only had 8 episodes... 4 episodes actually, with 2 in each. IT was so short. Kinda like FLCL... you know, only 6 episodes, which was also super hillarious!

Anime was so funny u'd LUAO all the time, though it was a little too gory.
There are only 8 episode in total.
I reckon it selling point is it's comedic antics rather than the story itself, but all in all, a good anime to watch, a nice change from the usual.

The whole thing is so very random, yet it manages to entertain immensely :3
Its brilliant. so much blood. so much strange-ness. too bad its only 4 eps long........well its 8 but 2 in a half hour.
Its nuts. you cant take it seriously. its jsut funny as crap. i reccomend seeing it. its not long and its so worth it.

Man...i gotta admit that i only saw this at first because of Chiba Saeko...but after the first few minutes...i had to pause it and take a breather....i just cannot believe how funny it is......especially the parts with Gregor Samsa and the animal cut-outs
Over the top violence. No other words for it. but still an Anime that was actually really, really, entertaining to watch!, if you havn't already seen it, go get it now!
