Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Do you find that when you listen to a CD or on the radio when that one high beat catchy toon just come on while your driving, and then do you get the "need for speed" feel? cause i drive alot personally and sometimes when that one song comes up i just feel like putting the pedal to the metal...what about u?

I'm too cautious of a driver to even listen to anything while driving. In fact, I only drive when absolutely neccessary because, well, I guess I have a sort of phobia of being behind the wheel. But when I'm the passenger, yeah, I guess I notice how a few people like to speed up when "their song" comes on.

I probably shouldn't listen to music when I drive. I listen to a fairly wide variety of music, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love metal especially. The reason this is problematic is because I play drumset with a double-bass setup, and if I'm not careful my feet will forget which type of pedals they're on.

That's how I'm going to die.

I always drive fast on highways... agressive electro-industrial makes me take some risky lane changes though... >_<

Pop make me drive slower.. like a graaandpaah ... If I start to sing I'll be late to wherever I'm going!

Speed is never an issue, I'm always on the other side on the speedo hehe hence Music doesn't effect me at all! JK

Some music even with fast beats, grudgy, etc doesn't wanna make me drive fast, actually I'd cruise and relax, however some others make me wanna floor it!

I drive my mini so i go with the "drive it like you stole it" method of driving. but i normaly drive in silence.....due to not having or wanting a radio.

the one time i've listen to music while driving i was calmer. rather than doing 85mph in a 70mhp (considering my mini speedo only go's to 90mph it was fast) with music i do 60mph odd insted. i seem to drive better with music. then again. its a mini so you got to have some fun. small country roads and a speed limit of 60mph with a car that sticks to the road. lovely.

I definataly get the "Need For Speed / Initial D" fever in my car... i'v got a BIG sound system and a DVD player in my car so i get it up REALY loud and get into it... and when i stop at the lights people stare at me cos of the loudness...

yeah and having a powerfull car dosent help eather hehehe...

... i guess the frequency of new tyres i go through is a good sign of how i drive

I'm an aggressive driver anyway. I'm one of those people you can be glad doesn't have a gun in the car while driving. I listen to the radio or CD's in the car often. It can be distracting if I'm singing/dancing along, but mostly it calms me down by redirectly my anger and frustrations into the song. I drive must better when I don't put my stress into my driving. I don't particularly like to drive fast though; so, I don't believe any type of music I'm listening to is encouraging me to speed. My problem is that I sometimes have delusions of drifting skills. Luckily these delusions generally only occur when I'm driving down cruvy roads in the middle of nowhere.

i totally understand what you mean, cause i have one of those crazy CD holders, and i stick like 2 CD's in each so i always end up using both my knees to hold the wheel in place...almost got caught on the highway by a cop cause i was trying to find CD's while speeding...lol...

I drive fast and sometimes kind of agressively too regardless of what cd or songs I'm playing in my car. When I'm driving on the highway especially for at least several hours - I need music (no matter what kind) to keep me awake and more alert on the road. Only one time I've fallen asleep behind the wheel and thank god, I caught myself in time before I completely ran off the highway. The only other time I drove really poorly was when I was drunk (ages ago) which I would never do again anyways...Some of my friends have complained about my driving - like I speed too much and change lanes constantly...

I'm a dork...whenever Metallica's "Fuel" comes on my stereo while I'm driving, I start going faster. XD

It's that song and "Whiskey in the Jar" (also by Metallica). Oh! And "Dragula" by Rob Zombie.

It was much more fun driving to those songs with my car rather than my truck... T_T Oh well...

I drive like an old lady pretty much whatever I listen to (unless I'm really, REALLY late for something). I'm really scared of getting another ticket, one was enough for me (for the record, I was listening to the BBC world service when I got pulled over, not anything even remotely up tempo)
