Can you give up porn for sex?

A recent study was conducted where 124,000 males aged 18-35 across the US were asked via questionaires of choosing between porn or sex. Meaning they can only have one or the other in their life. Seems like an obvious choice right? Amazingly, 18% of the 124,000 males said they would rather not have sex the rest of their lives than to give up porn.

So what's your take on this? Is there any relationale as to why some people would give up sex entirely just to watch other people have sex?

they wont give up porn:

probably because they think they wont do well, or they are addicted to porn like a drug, or they dont want that "imperfect" body with them so they rather watch porn with fake perfection...

thats all i can guess.

I can't say that i'm suprised. everyone is addicted to something, with these guys it just happens to be porn. i'd be curious to see what these guys look like. is it a general mix of types of guys or is it the ones that have no chance with a chick (sorry, but they're out there...)

Relationships = temporary (even marriage)
Porn = there when you need it
need I say more? I rather have both, but I am forced to make a choice, so porn yes, cause sex you never know what you are gonna get, your left hand or right hand cannot give you aids.

Statistics. If that 18% was tempted with the real thing, it would crumble to 1-3%, which fits to the error-margin. ;)

Hmm...i think those who choose porn over sex maybe just have low self esteem that they can't really pleasure a girl with what they got? or perhaps they aren't confident having sex with a girl?...as someone said before porn is alwasy there for you without any fuss or whining, while sex...a lota people here would probably kno the other half of it so yea...but giving them the choice to have sex just once before making the decision, i wonder if the 18% will drop? why let your left or right hand win when you can let the girl win ;)

btw real sex would be more than enough for me!

to watch porn in the rest of your life? those people are just plain morons, people who dont have lifes, and people know that ''porn'' is perfect in the TV, while in reality it's not, so those people would rather want to lfie in a fantasy world with their own rules in front of the computer downloading porn each dya making their computer slower and getting all kinds of viruses

To NatsumiLam: Stop abusing the Quote function. You do not need to quote someone when their post is directly above yours. What's the point? You also do not need to quote an entire post and end up posting one line. Do you have a specific reason for doing this? No? Then don't do it. Quoting is used for when you are replying to another's posts that's not directly above yours. Second offense will result in a 1000 papers fine.
