Well the scan seems to be very dull and distorted, you should try cleaning it up a bit. I would suggest you vector it but if you don't want to then just use blending. The background just seems way to random and just trying to fill up space. As it is now I wouldn't submit.

Hmm... nice scan, however, it's still a bit too grainy... i can still see the grains... o_o

and the BG doesn't seem to blend it with the characters... just my POV... feel free to disregard it... ^_^

Because screenshots of DNAngel are usually hard to clean and the manga is nice artwork. ^.^;

What about it doesn't work? I didn't like the colors at first but then they grew on me, although that could just be me getting used to it. Too light? Too dark?
Well disregarding what others say would kind of defeat the purpose of asking them in the first place, and you /do/ have a valid point. ^^

This only my opinion...i'm gonna straight to the point.

did you resize the wall?? min size at AP are 1024x768.

i don't like the outer glow at the character..it looke weird at the hair, remove that.

need improve the BG because it look like you just add many filters and too many colours, too rough!.change the BG into smooth one. i mean change the whole BG to a new one.(its up to you...)

scan are grainy especially at Daisuke's hair, clean it.

I suggest you vector the characters and make the background in a purplish texture, to match the colour of the clothes the characters wearing.......

I've been trying to find an actual vectoring tut for some time now, but haven't been successful- they're all either on turning photos into paintwork effects or vectoring with shapes in terms of lineart (which involves drawing with the pen tool from what I've gathered). can anyone tell me what exactly I'm looking for? I know I need to clean the image up, but at this stage, I have no idea what I can use without sitting down with the smudge tool- which is not cool.
