If you are not sure which song I'm talking about, go check it out at

Well, it's a beautiful and touching song by Hitmoi, really fits the sad plot. But the OST booklet doesn't give out the full lryic. I'm comfused by the first part of the song, what kind of language is that? Anyone knows?
The second part is Japanese, here is the lyric in romanji:

shikkoku no kono sekai ni
hikari afureru toki made
Very good song from Hitomi.
I am not very sure but I highly think that the language in the first 1:37 minutes of the song is Latin.
I've search all the lyric sites I know and it also cuts off the first part of the song too :P.

It doesn't sound like Latin.
Neither is it French, Spanish or Russian, does not sound like German as well...

Parts of it sound like english but I'm not sure.
Seems to me that I heard something like "I hear you staying up" or so.
It's definitly no German because I'm German ^.^
I think it could be italian but to clear this I need to ask my husband.

It's a made-up language which was invented for this song.
That's why it's similar to other languages (italian, english, french,ecc...).
Anyway, it's a beautiful song ^_^

Its definitely not Bahasa Indonesia ( obviously ) because I am Indonesia. And I am sure that it is not Vietnam or Chinese either. So anyway, I am running a research on wikipedia and wiki.theppn.org because now that you guys remind it, i am interested in knowing it.
First of all , I would say that this is a nice song, though I can't really believe that Hitomi is the one who sings it, for some reasons unknown to me.
Alright, there is something with wikipedia at this time and I certainly can't find anything on wiki.theppn.org

Hmm, I thought it was latin. But it's not odd thing they made 'new' language in the song.
I heard that she just came up with it. I mean sounds a lot like latin, is not though (had to learn it at school..poor me) and as said before it´s neither German, French or anathing like this. It ain´t ever the east-european languages like Russian or Czech or something like this...
