This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Okay, so a friend told me if my wallpaper got rejected, then to upload it on ImageShack and display it here. So... here it is.

Please give me any criticism you can! I drew this picture all my self, and the blood was copied off of another source.

Sorry, but your link doesn't work. you need to click on "url", enter the "share with friends" (since it's imageshack) web address, then click on that button to the right of the pop up box, then entire a name for your wallpaper, and click that right button again. currently, you have no, for lack of a better term, a "close" url, as in a close bracket. yeah. try linking again. :P

edit now that you fixed your link:

lol practice makes perfect, right? anyway, to the wall, nice fanart! i myself draw a lot but unfortunately, i have no stupid good scanner to make walls out of them T_T. I'm not sure how the head on the left relates to him sleeping and the nighttime prayer. the text is a bit excessive, but i know that the prayer doesn't rhymn or make sense without the full stanza. =/ but i'm sure you can find a better suiting font. if ever in doubt you have the right one on your computer, dafont.com is the place to go.

and the blood...the blood...well, for one the blob in the very bottom left corner is blurry while the rest is clean and sharpt...though they are all too realistic. three-d-ish blood isn't going to work here. go search up some splendid splatter brushes on deviantART. those will do better.

and well, waiting for the update. =D

I like the concept of this one but its like other walls, hard to figure what to do. i suggest finding a better replacement for the text or if you wanna incorporate it, then try to find a way to make it flow with the walpaper, i dunno maybe a gradient of some kind with some added effects or texture overlay.

Nice sketch, i admire originality. but two sketches together dont look well together in my opinion.

I'll be a little bit more radical ^_^' So, first things first, take out the blood and the sketch on the right, because they really break the unity of the entire wallpaper, and also, with the blood being so realistic, it clearly doesn't fit in at all.

Now, I think you should use a different font for the prayer text, and place it in one of the corners on the rights [bottom would look best, in my opinion]. You should make a more elaborate background, using brushes, gradients, vectors or whatnot, becaue white looks good, but it's way too plain. After you make the background, find a way to adjust the brightness and hue of your sketch, then change the blending mode of the layer with the sketch to get a fancy effect [usually Screen, Overlay, Multiply or Vivid Light do the trick ;)]. Good luck!

You're one very brave soul to have this much faith in your own art. It's a nice use of your hand art if anything. Ü But yeah, gotta fix the blood. Kinda looks like you had a nose bleed while drawing or something.

As a fanart it's not bad. Generally with wallpapers created from artwork you've done yourself, it's sufficient to use the artwork itself as a simple wall. There's no real need to plaster tacky typography and blood effects D: How about digitally colouring it so it looks painted? Use a stylised or simple colour scheme and it'll look pretty good.

I think the second one is much better. Nice job on the artwork!

One suggestion I'd make is to take the blood splatter off the left person's leg-- the other blood spatters are around the edges of the picture and the one in the middle is too distracting. It looks a little bit out of place.
