This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

I think it doesn't matter how fast or long you watch a series. When you finish a series and it leaves you wanting more, than it's a good anime. Good anime are good throughout and hopes to get more viewers. Hopefully it drives people to buy the anime, and in turn give the creator's a chance to make a sequel. If the ratings are high, they'll always do something to please the audience. Love Hina is a perfect example. Slayers is too. Movies just kept coming out.

vlath
so I've come to a conclussion:

Good Anime that leaves you wanting more = Anime with a bad/uncompleted ending
Good Anime you feel good at to see it end = Anime with a perfect ending

I agree with this statement.

I've watched several anime series that I've felt a little disappointed with at the ending, but nothing like a sort of sadness. (ie; FMA+movie)

There are others that I've watched that when I've finished, I kind of miss the series and rewatch it a good couple of times before moving on (ie; Nadesico+movie, Onegai Teacher/Twins, Vandread and a few more). Then again, I'm the same way with a good, well written fiction.

Guess it's just a way of life. That's what I get for having an addictive personality.

Happen quite often... something it´s just such a fun to watch and you can´t stop and you want to know how it´s going to end... but once it´s really over you just want to have more of it... recently the feeling makes me search for a soundtrack to the series (^.^) or quite often fanfiction and pictures (^.^). Nice set of avatars and/or signatures for recently favorite anime can´t be bad, can it? (^.^)

I must admit I always get a little sad when I reach the last episode of a series.

Its much worse when the anime has a badly crafted ending that makes little to no sense.

But at the end it’s always like ‘no wait, this cant be the end, not yet’

But alas it usually is, but luckily new anime is almost constantly being created. ^^

Hosh
Hmm... I do regreat finishing good animes, but a part me just wants to keep watching, even though the last episode is nearing. All good things have to come to an end, yes? ^^;;

Very true..;_;

I've felt a slight sense of regret upon finishing really good animes. But if it's really that good it never really ends cause you keep watching it over and over again and everytime can be just like the first or almost like it. I find I feel more regret when I finish writting a fanfic since you worked so hard and now it's there. But that's just me. All and all, yes I do feel some regret but very little. That and I rarely finish an anime cause I get sidetracked ^^;;;

I cant say i completley regret watching an anime even if the ending totally sucked because they are some parts of the anime which i liked so it wouldnt be a total waste of time^^ Any anime that goes under this would have to be Shingetsutan Tsukihime. The action was good but....the ending...i dont wanna spoil anyone who hasnt seen it but....yah the ending wasnt that great.

I don't usually regret when I finish an anime, even if I do it in one day. Because if I finish it in one day is because it got me hooked and it was really good. What sometimes I don't like is the last chapter, many times the finale that they give is not as good as I expected. But hey, what can be done.

Well that happened to me when i watch Spiral on DVD
The first thing i do when i saw the ending is:
Stunned
For about 15 minutes (more or less.. :P)
And..
"WHAT WAS THAT?!"
I blew away.
Those sorts of things happened to me when i saw an ending of an anime.
But Spiral is the most shocking to me.
Why??

It's a mystery... :P

LOL! Haha. I have definitely done the same thing. An example would be Fullmetal Alchemist for sure. I watched the entire series in about 2-3 days. I couldn't help myself, and when I was done, I was like boohoo.

I think I also did the same thing with Chrono Crusade... and that one was really emotional at the end.

So I regretted finishing them at the beginning, but there will always be other anime to watch. Plus if you pick new anime to watch you are limited to only one episode a week.
