So there has been this new series which i think is far better than the REST...AND I MEAN BETTER

So have you guys seen Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion? Oh totally awesome, you would not regret watching it. To be honest, after watching this anime, im sort of stuck to it cuz i think that the other anime\'s are not too good enough to match it. I believe that this anime will be a really REALLY big hit in the future (since its very promising). A lot of people are of course looking for this anime and they are like OMG WTF where is this? (So i sort of helped and uploaded up to episode 10, though will have to re upload and make private since it got deleted)

A short summary:

On August 10th, 2010, a.t.b., the Holy Britannia Empire overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames. Japan lost its freedom and rights and was renamed to Area 11, under the complete control of the Britannia Empire. The Japanese people, stripped of their identity and now referred to as \"Elevens\", are now forced to survive in ghettos, while Britannians live in first-class settlements. Yet rebel elements exist, as pockets of Japanese nationalists continue the fight for their independence.

A young boy named Lelouch made a pledge to destroy the Britannia Empire after his father, the King of Britannia did nothing to pursue the terrorists who murdered his mother and crippled his sister. Seven years later, he stumbles upon a group of rebel Elevens who have stolen a military secret. With the weapon of Geass that he obtains from the secret, he finally has the tool he needs to face the Britannian empire and take his revenge.

So anyway guys...if you have watched this, some facts that i find very intresting is in episode 2, when Lelouch calls the rest of the group as \"P-1 up to P-8\" i think is somewhat related to chess. And he calls Kallen as \"Q-1\" meaning queen

whats wrong with saying something as "total ownage"? thats a typical line from a 1337 person and cuz this anime is really good. Its a bit sad though im losing interest in other anime, this is just too good.

As for Gundam Seed likeness, well all animes will have a similarity or two with other animes. BUT If your saying "the best friends" bit, my answer is NO. In G-seed, they knew that they were fighting each other even though they were friends. In CG - LOTR, Lelouch and Suzaku dont know each others secret identity (or even know that they had one). "The robot bit", niether that because doesnt mean an anime has robots, it had to be associated with Gundam series. Also have you seen the robot fight scenes of episode 10++, they dont use "big ass laser guns" they fight like real human, being very agile and flexible for a robot (yeah its impossible, but its cool). "Two races fighting" bit, well in G-seed the so called "coordinators" were superior blah blah, and they didnt want to have any connection with "naturals" cuz they didnt accept them. Well, in Code Geass its a revolution, so there wasnt a war in the beginning. We watch "the beginning" of the war. Also, unlike in G-Seed, the two nations fighting never really took over one, they kept on killing each other. In Code Geass, Japan was already taken over for eight years and because of Lelouch, they somehow manage to start a revolution and be succesful.

Also anyone notice in the opening they say "Holy Empire of Britain" (so in a way associated with Europe) but the continent they show is actually North America XD

I like the artstyle behind it. Clamp always amazes me. I'm looking forward to this one. I haven't started it yet though..

So far this serie has pretty much everything. A very interesting and likeable main character. Awesome battle scenes. Good looking ladies (Karen/Kallen!), some cool looking mech suits (Guren MkII and Lancelot come to mind, I dislike the standard heads on the sutherlands) and a very interesting main story line.
In other words, it's a win win anime.

The characters are a total rip off from Kamui of X and Syaoran from TRC... but aside from that, the series is awesome! The plot is extremely interesting, with all it's twists and turns, but also, there are some... "similarities" (cough) with Gundam Seed (well... it's Sunrise... ¬_¬), like Suzaku, who has pilot skills worthy of the ultimate Coordinator or that girl that looks so much like Lacus... also, in the second opening we get to see the Aile Strik... Lancelot, thanks to that jetpack.
Aside from that, I think the series is great, it's OST is also damn good, I suggest you take a little of time in getting it.

I agree~~~ the anime is great! It's not an anime that requires one to consider which side is right and wrong... And no one can really tell who is right and wrong. It's not heavily loaded with mecha actually~~ dat's what I like... And sometimes Black Knight Order somehow reminds me of Light from Death Note. Both believe in their own justice without depending on authorities. What they did and doing might be wrong but it's not totally wrong if the power they have are being used appropriately~~ Sometimes it leaves fans thinking if the Black Prince is right or the White Knight is right? Both of them have different views and beliefs and yet can still be close friends. And some debatable questions eventually surfaced which I can never answer until now. How about you guys?
1)Which one is it more important? Pride or Peace? If an Eleven chooses Peace, they'll have to live under the authority of Britannia in a country that initially belongs to the Japanese. If you go against Britannia, you can atleast have some pride instead of relying on your enemy who conquered your country,but in return you are putting your life and peace in the line.
2)Black Knights, resembles Light a little by eliminating 'trash' in the society but considered childish~~ They have their reasoning and believes that in order to achieve something (lower crime rate), there shud be sacrifices (human lifes, probably involves innocent ones). From my opinion, it could be true although many will say that *they are just so wrong*. Are these people saying it* just because this answer is more acceptable in the community or trying to be 'idealist' like Suzaku?
That's why I find it fun watching this anime! Feel free to respond! ^^

What I love about this series is that it doesn't put all of its eggs in one basket. What I mean is, its got tons of action ( the mechas), an ingenious leader with a strong sense of justice and the will to do what needs to be done (Lelouch with his chess genious mind) and tons of ladies I totally dig (obvious.) Its also really funny at times, and I like Suzuka despite what some people say. It all just flows really well together. The only thing I'm worried about is the pairings, because if Lelouch hooks up with Shirley, thats cool, and Suzuka hooks up with the princess, thats bearable, but I don't know who Kallen hooks up with. A minor problem, I'm sure, but I can't help but think about it whenever I finish an episode. I see Kallen and Suzuka hooking up because they are the ace pilots fighting against each other without knowing it and they both feel strongly about what they are doing.

I love Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion definately one of clamps better ones I have up to episode 15 so far :) and Im completely hooked.

Well Clamp did the character design, i'm not so sure about the story line etc.

I have to admit that I expected the stereotypical giant mech thing, and in some ways it fits that description, but this anime exceeded my expectations. It reminds me of Death Note, in the way that Lelouch and Raito seem to be the cold, scheming type.

Code Geass is the anime I lust after atm xD I love the storyline and the lelouch in general. Evil protagonists are so much better than the regular ones. This guy is strong and vengeful. I have to agree with the poster above, it reminds me a lot of Death Note. I look forward to seeing a lot more :D
