Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Some people out there have some form of video playing mp3. I was wondering do you watch anime on it or A/V out from the mp3? Try to keep this topic from being closed. Talk about what mp3 you have, if you A/V out or watch from the mp3, if you need to convert the video what program do you use?

Do you guys use Windows movie maker to convert your videos? Any of you use Videora?

I watch a few animes on my laptop (if you want to call that a portable device) sometimes at university during my 50-minute lunch break. Watching anime at school feels completely different than watching anime at home.

I have a video ipod and I put anime on it. Surprisingly enough I can read the subtitles very easily.

I've been watching anime on my PSP lately, and other than the hassle of converting them, it's all good. No problems reading the subtitles, and the sound quality is good too.

Yeah,i like to watch anime on portable devices.
it feels great watching anime even if i am away from home.
i usually convert the avi or mkv files to 3gp format to run in my portable media player.my mp3 player comes with free convertor which i use to convert the files.but the video quality takes a huge drop and the small screen is too tiring.still being a anime addict i endure this with a big smile to watch my fav anime on the move.

Most anime works well with portable devices (feels closer to the real thing than converted movies), and subs can easily be read as long as the screen is at least 2inches or so with 320 x 240ish resolution, though your eyes do apparently get rather squinty if you watch for hours a day like that... .(-_-). emoticon

I tried at one point to convert some Haibane Renmei to play on my video iPod when I went traveling, but I couldn't find a decent program in time that supported mkv to mp4. If such a program exists, it probably costs money~ I tend to like bigger screens anyway. My computer screen is small as it is.

Wotching: There is a program called Videora, it converts any video file for playback into iTunes so you can put on your iPod

For me, only portable device i have is a Nintendo DS, i've converted episodes before but the subtitles arent that easy to read specially when the quality is average at best, that said i've really only watched raws at great length. I need to get my hands on an ipod video or of the like =/

Whenever I can't watch anime on tv (especially when I'm travelling), I have it on my PSP. I guess it more convenient and portable since the ipod is soo small for me to read the subtitles and a laptop would be too heavy to bring along.

My relatively new cell phone sports a 320x240 pixel screen (same as the video iPods), which for me is the minimal size I can handle watchin subbed video on. I'd like to have one of them newfangled iPod Touches, as they've got up to 32GB now, and my old (read: very old) iPod is on the verge of death.

I have see few anime from my friend ipod..umm...the quality is oke, but you lose the time to convert it to ipod version. And the size of the ipod is so small, so i can't see the subtitle! /(O_O)/ emoticon
