Okay, so an OVA was released that picked up after the criminally short original series, even claiming to be two new episodes, and that's it. No more.
What's the deal? Was it a random OVA to give a little more, or a chance to have it picked up for a second season, or what? It was so randomly out of place, and left us with nothing.
That's not to say it wasn't funny...
Anyway, does anyone know one way or the other: is there going to be any more?

It was an okay series, I mean, it's so short, if you think it sucks, at least you didn't waste too much time. For me it was neither a "WOW" or a "OMG THAT SUCKED". Everything was average, animation, music, storytelling, voice acting yadayada, some parts of it was humorous, although I didn't like the pace of the whole show, it went a bit too fast for me. I would guess they made it because the studio just went "ahh well, let's just do it and see what happens, we got the money" (mind you I have no idea which studio animated it). It's cute to watch when Dokuro is being all nice and stuff but when she gets out her club it gets nasty.
Hmm it was an ok series... there were some good parts and just some weird parts...

It's something to watch when you're bored or want to laugh at stuff. Much fanservice and stuff to smile at, don't expect any sort of cohesive plot because there isn't one. Watch for the lulz.
I found myself disliking it really much, to much fanservice and I am not to fond of the humor in the series, the fact that she kills him all the time mostly annoys me.
Actually, I remember counting 12 times in the whole first series, which means 12 times in 2 hours. I'm actually surprised that people don't like this show better, considering it's the only anime my non-anime friends like.
I checked this show recently out of curiosity because Saeko Chiba (Dokuro's voice actress) mentioned Dokuro-chan in a internet radio program and I ended up watching all episodes available. In technical terms, it's really a very simple anime (some might say mediocre.. ^^). But I really loved the humor and the characters and this is something very personal. I guess most people would find the kind of humor present in Dokuro-chan repulsive, offensive and idiotic. Dark humor is not the kind of humor that pleases many people.
Anyway, regarding whether or not there will be more episodes of the show, my guess is that there will be not. At least not in a near future, because it seems that Tsutomu Mizushima (the director for Dokuro-chan) is busy with two new anime series (Kemeko DX and xxxHOLiC) for this year.

The show gets repetitive really fast and the funniest thing is the most stupid one, BINKAN! BINKAN! What is in that sausage? I wonder...~
I just remember them being at a theater, and in the background Binkan is laying in a swarm of pigs, yelling "Pigs!? PiIGGGS!" and flailing about.
To be honest when I saw the series I had some fun and yeah it's not one of those anime masterpiece lol, but its more like an anime series to watch just to have some fun and kill time on a boring day hehe
Honestly... I didn't enjoy it that much... if you like fanservice, maybe you'll get to enjoy it a little bit.
It's better to be asleep than bored...
