Things you can't have....
It just struck me one day. I was reading a magazine and saw many wonderful places all around the world. I would imagine what it would be like to visit some of those places, and actually experience it. I have always dreamed of going places, travel all around the world. But all of those are just dreams for me. I know I cannot and will never be able to afford and have the time to do that...
I just want to know if I should stop this mad dream and just focus on the things that is within my reality's reach. What is your opinion about this, and have you also experienced such?

Pshhhh come on man don't be soo negative..well even though those dreams cost major dollars. it's alright to dream big man I guess for someone to do something big you just have to take small steps towards that goal haha you'll eventually get to it someday..=P

I always dream of having this and that but to be true most of them will always be a dream. The only way to achieve this is to work for your dream. If you want to travel to far placed and don't have the money for that: save money, work for it or just dream about it.
I think everyone has dreamed of some things and places. Those dreams aren't bad, they help you to learn more about the world and how it works. It's not a mad dream although it could be frustrating sometimes. But the result is even better if you achieve your dream. Just for example: I dream to make a journey to the maledives. But it's very expensive so I need to work for that dream. I can't buy everything I want to have to fullfill this dream so I need to learn what's really important to me and what not. Can you imagine how great it will feel to achieve that dream one day?
Work for your dream or just dream about it ^^

If you want to visit those places then you have to fight for it. dream is something that should be achieved. I have my own dream. it's about financial, time and mind freedom. I know I can do it. i just need 1, 2 or maybe 3 years to achieve it and I will never give up.

I don't think it's a thing you "cant have", per se. Nothing is impossible! If you work hard and save enough, you'll definitely be able to go to the places you want to go. Angel-voice is right, having dreams is a good thing. It motivates you, and makes you prioritize. So don't say you won't be able to have it! (: It all depends on how hard you are willing to work for it.

right now I only can watch the real sakura trees from computer or photos, but I want to make sure that someday I can go to Japan and see the real sakura tree. you can set the same goal with me ^^

Yeah, maybe you guys are right... Sorry for sounding too negative, I just felt like that one day. I just happened to overlook all the good things I already have, thanks for your comments and suggestions. They really helped me. 
Ahhh, I don't think i had a dream which came true, one of those is going to Japan and living there, and having a really good computer with the max Gigaheartz possible and an LCD monitor with also the maximum VGA possible and having the games with the best graphics and gameplay, haha. . . I am working for that dream now, I guess all I can do now is to study harder. . .

How 'bout getting magically transported into an anime world? That's impossible, right? And that's the only thing that I want but can't have even though how much I try

Other that that I can't think of anything that humans cannot do and cannot have if they put they mind and soul to it, excluding love. If you love someone but they don't love you back then it's wrong to force them to return your feeling (this is another thing that you may not have).
When I want something but couldn't get it I would eventually forget about it in the end. Unless it turns into an obsession.

Well there are still many things I want and I haven't achieved it yet... I'm still working on those things. I know someday I will have those things like PSP going to places like Japan, Paris and so fort.

One of my life dreams is to travel the world, visit all the places I've dreamed about.. the money's going to be a problem for sure, but in my eyes, I see it as not an if, but when. As celaena said.. nothing is impossible, you just have to reach for it and take it in the palm of your hand. ;)

There are a lot of things that are impossible to do - at least, within our lifetime.
But there are still many seemingly impossible dreams that actually can be achieved... I have a peer that also wants to travel the world, and so she's trying to become a dentist. If you think it's impossible to do such things, then you quite obviously don't want it hard enough to work 'that' hard for it. I'm fairly certain you're not mentally retarded, so you 'just' need heaps of hard work to make it.
As for my dreams... I'm too much of a coward to ever pursue them. More's the pity.

Travel to virgin islands, eat exotic foods, sleep in great hotels, meet the royalty, there are plenty of things to do or buy in life. All the world is yours to have, you just need money to afford. Some religions require more than simple papers, but the rest of the world you can buy.
If you only need money to afford your dreams, so work for it. We just need to work hard, to study to reach the necessary level to earn the money we need. Dreams come true as long as we do something about it. I wish I could buy the ultimate MacBookPro generation, but I need to do a lot of things firstly to deserve to have it.

That's right. nothing is impossible. if you have a dream, then fight for it. if you think that's impossible, then you're right. but if you think that's possible, you're right too. it depend on how you think about it. I believe we can achieve our dreams sooner or later. :)
