Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

What brought this topic was, basically I was feeling depressed, life just beating down on you. Everyone goes through this. Being depressed I do the sad girl who got dumped thing. I got a tub of ice cream and instead of chick flicks, im reeling through my collection of Animes.

I'm watching like stuff with like love dramas and stuff. As I'm watching I'm realizing that the story is so similar to what I was going through. But the people in the Animes have it easy. Hey I would get over any depression if i could do magical whatever or like vent my rage on some evil thing with my physic defying abilities. Seriously I think people can relate more to anime in their lives.

I was wondering if anyone else had a moment closely related to an Anime situation.

My life like an anime? Maybe they are some resemblances but the same as in real life no. Maybe when I was 13 I wanted to be my life as an anime because I thought it was more easy but living the real life has it's benefits

I try to avoid drama as much as possible, but I sure wish my life had mecha in it :-/

Drama is just a part of life, you are (usually) born alone, and you die alone.

I've seen similarities in anime that I feel relate to my real life.Like Rozen Maiden for instance, but not many others. We can still dream though, can we not?

I feel like Konata. I always base my decision to join an extracurricular activity on "will it interfere with my anime or video game time after school?" and I always decide NOT to join an after school program.

My life is also like .hack//sign. I'm so immersed in MMORPG games that it's like I'm stuck in them. It's not the same as Sucasa because I can still leave if I CHOOSE to, but I just don't.

Ahh I'm in somewhat of a depression right now with all my midterms and projects hitting me all at once. Assignments, studying and university are my top priority, at least for the rest of this week. Hopefully I can finish everything before the next weekend finishes then I'll be real happy. I'm sure there have been some instances out of the 70 animes I've watched that have resembled my life almost exactly, but I can't think of anything from the top of my head right now. A lot of the drama that I've seen comes from romance stories, which doesn't really apply to me at least not right now and a lot of them feature some kind of supernatural element in the story.

Why,in my opinion, anime(if we're referring to,say, the type like Lucky Star or Memories Off)situation life are just the same as the situation of that we life on(a.k.a real life).
The current situation of my life, for example,is like the situation in any anime when everything is peaceful and happy. But no one says that this situation exist from anime right? It exist even before anime itself exist.

Hope I make my points clearly and not confusing on this one.

Sometimes, yeah, I do feel like my life is like an Anime, when unexpected things happen, when something is too good to be true and when special things that you think only can occur in fairytales and animes happen in reality. But I have to point though, anime includes much fantasy while reality does not, maybe that's the biggest difference. It's not like I have a potion in my pocket and drink it to feel better or use a phoenix down to wake up from being dead^^. But I see my life as an adventure, just like an rpg, and that makes it more fascinating^^

Hmmm... not really...

If anything it's not like an anime at all, in anime the characters are always saying stupid things and making the wrong decisions and everything often works out fine for them in the end once the plot is through. Life on the other hand rarely gives second chances, say something idiotic or make the stupid decision and you'll more than likely have to live with it, rather than a handy string of plot devices making things better again. Life would be easier all round if it were like anime because they're usually getting relatively simple decisions and then cocking them up for plots sake, in the real world you could make the right decision and actually do something useful. Also I tend to watch unrealistic animes, mechs, sci-fi, gore fests, though drama does get a look in occasionally if it's attention grabbing enough. Still, overall, not so much like my life I'd have to say in terms of decisions available and their repercussions.

Occasionally.

But mostly no, the community here where I live and the one in Japan have vast differences, so it's pretty impossible for something anime-like to happen. And about the actual feelings, drama, that is quite impossible too, due to social differences again... But sometimes, especially after watching some anime I tend to create parallels with my life, but I later understand how wrong those actually are ;)

Now then... How about some mechas? XD

Yes, it feels like a very depressing anime, almost as depressing as Saikano, except I usually try to be happy about it.

In a way yeah. all the girls that want me i don't want, and whenever i like a girl, even if she liked me first, things get awkward and nothing comes of it. well, i guess the guy usually gets the girl he wants in anime, but plenty of awkwardness in between.
