To submit or not to submit ?

This wall might seem a little weird ... but i need your opinions!So please if you can find the time to comment on it , any constructive criticism is appreciated , ( where i went wrong , what should i work on more ).
This will help me decide whether to submit it or not .
Side-note : I really wanted to use this scan because Alita's expression is just O_O ... lovely and awesome .

I like its wierdness and the look it has, but id change the text and maybe place it in a better way

Hmm..I like it but I'd give it a more dramatic twist maybe not to show her entire face. Like you could make snapshots of her eye, her lips, and place the face onto a corner, allowing half of it to be seen with some cool fliter, maybe textured and the snapshots over it to be clearly seen. Just an idea, I like the bg a lot and how you colored the pic. So, keep at it!

Totally awesome wall. It rocks out loud! I haven't really seen a wall like this in a long long long time. So, your wall is really unique.

Very artsy and describe the feelings you wanted very good ..... excellent color combi ... well done
Not bad...it's just need a little touch up...just change the text...and find a good place on it...good luck@

nice looking wallpaper!
as everyone said before i think you should try another text style and chage the color to a more redish one so that it blends better with the scan...
i would place the sign a little more down at the bottom...
and about the character... i think the red color is too bright and strong... maybe try another red tone but stay with red tones... but less hard looking...

I was mainly afraid that no one would comment...
So I haven't had any better ideas for the text , it's still " Don't Panic!" , but i've changed the font and the position and also made another version with less brightness ...

yes, i agree with you... i think version 2 looks better... but i still think you should change the text style... the "don't panic" words are fine.. i just don't like how the style blends... i would go back and try again with the old horizontal position and just change the style... and maybe play with colors and the blending modes...
another thing... why don't you try making the "10" number on her face with a different color.. maybe a redish one, similar to the red on her mouth... I think i would blend better with her face... cause now i have the felling that the "10" is now belonging to her face...

OK , completely remade the wallpaper , now it has a different background and a different colour theme .
Took me a while with the brushes ... my eyes still hurt , but i still feel like something is missing and i really want to finish this wall and make it worth AP . So any suggestions , comments will be appreciated ( i'm currently out of ideas ) .

Hmm I checked the previous versions and I think this is the best of them, I like the current color scheme and the re-done bg. I would leave it like it is, I don´t miss anything in this. Better simple than overdone...But it´s up to you. I like the current version

Hey, I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but I had to say it... The top 'lip' that you coloured is actually her teeth (if you notice, they're rather odd-shaped lips and there's a 'v' shape above them indicating lip line -- I only noticed this because it's similar to how I draw my own) I could be mad but try colouring the upper part and see if it looks better... I could be just imagining things. BUT other than that it's the coolest wallpaper I've seen in weeks and I'm not even familiar with the series! And I think the version of your wall I like the most is [link], the text is kinda cool :D

Indeed the things you colored in red in her mouth are her teeth and I'm sorry to tell you that character isn't Alita (Gally in french) but it's Number 10... The tenth tuned built on Alita's plan and warrior skill :D Yeah I know I love that manga! ^_^
Anyway it's cool to see an other wall that will be add in the Battle Angel Alita gallery. It will be the 7th in that category... Not much hey? :)
For me the best version for the background is this version and for the face of the character I would rather go with the last update you uploaded...
But I feel like the coloring of the scan could use a bit more work... Cause I also did my battle angel Alita wall with a scan of some manga picture and I needed to clean it first... Removing all the little cross from the manga style to get a nice look and add some colors...
Anyway the font is looking nice in the last version also...

Am I the only person who doesn´t see that colored tooth? You mean that pink thing above the lower lip? Hmm nice observation girls =P

Yes , i had painted her teeth ( and yes i know that it sounds really really stupid ) . After realizing that thanks to Anika , i had two choices : either let her teeth be visible and try to redraw her upper lip or leave her "lip" as it was and erase that upper sign of her real lip . I settled for the latter one . I've also added colour to her face and thoroughly cleaned the lower part : with the hair and lips . ( umm at least that' what i tried to do XD ) . So somewhat improved :

Zazou , my bad , i've only read the first chapters from BAA , the rest of the pages i just took a fast look at them and this one caught my attention ( i was actually wondering why would Alita have that number on her forehead :-? ) I hope to finish reading it , and ( may it be... ) , contribue to the gallery :)
