code geass vector

The background in both wallpapers is plain simple , that makes it hard to find something to comment on . I would choose the first version because the image of Suzaku gives the wall a stronger impact ( and you can see his hair and face expression better :P ) . I'm not very experienced in vectoring , but seeing your vectors i can say there's room for improvement , i think you need more practice . The lines are kind of twisted , instead of curved and having a balanced flow ( this can be noticed especially at the way the hair is vectored ) . You also might add something more to the background or make more tinges from the white until you get to black . So this would be my comment :)

Hi there!
nice first vector.. but you need to work some more... and try to make the vector more detailled.. cause right now the lines are too big and strong looking... like a mosaic... i can see all your shapes... cause they aren't blending well... you need to change a bit the colors and add more detalled stuff
and also the background looks too plain... i would try with a different color of background, maybe a redish one.. and add some stuff like petals, or maybe some feathers...
also you forgot to add your sign at the bottom..
wish you luck...
kisses

Is this really a vector? Looks filtered. Can you undo the filter so I can see the vector? The background is too simple, the characters aren't clear enough... the lines a bit rough, thick and messy for my taste...
Hope I don't offend you... good luck. ^^U

Hum for a first vector it is quite good but you need to work on it a lot
first i can't see the lineart
then about the part you have to make it more shape

Looks quite blocky and rough... one thing about vectoring is that you want to keep the curves and borders and edges all nice and smooth and unbroken. that means you have to carefully trace the original curves. there also seems to be some color blocks one would not normally find in vectors... and i suppose that's why astrologica said it looks filtered. filters do not differentiate between different areas of shading that should be the same color but are not due to quality loss.
i guess there could be two possible reasons why this is: one is that you are trying to create a new style. in which case, i have no comment really, other than to repeat that it looks quite rough. the other is that you are not doing this detailedly enough and have done it with some tool such as the polygonal lasso in photoshop, by the looks of all those angular edges. either way, i think you should go back and refine your vector. from there onward, then i can comment about turning it into a proper wallpaper.

Ummm, this is my third one...
if the shape is broken, maybe because I'm vectoring it from very small image... I think I'm giving up for this one :(

I don't think you should give up for this one already. It just needs more reimprovements after all. I'm not very experienced in vectoring, so I can't give you much comment. But you should do something with the angular shape. You should smooth the selection more so that it's not that rough. Improve the shape. You should eliminate rough lines too... it disturbs the image. Do something with the background so that it's not that plain, too. Well then, I'm waiting your fixture. Don't give up already!
Ow, thanks! I think I just get some idea to improve it! though it maybe change the concept... but i'll still use vectored image
