Is there a level after Bankai?
Bankai and the power of the hollow within vizards are separate. It's certainly possible that author Tite Kubo may decide for a way to use the inner hollow's power to supplement their bankai form for added strength. However, achieving a level beyond bankai for a regular soul reaper seems rather crude in itself and is a cheap way to solve problems within the plot. The way the Bleach series, as it's going so far, is more intricate in a way and has greater character that a "post-Bankai" would just ruin what's been established.
In terms of an in-story argument, Aizen turned because he reached the ceiling of his soul reaper powers. Though not seen yet, his full capabilities are sure to be monstrous in power. An established limit on bankai would have led to his defection, though possible that he had already achieved such and found that there was nothing else to be yielded. Yet it's safer at this point to conclude that after achieving bankai he realized there was nothing more.
Given his power it seems impossible for Ichigo to match against him. Chances are hollow powers supplementing his bankai would be the best option to defeat Aizen.

Well said, couldn't agree with you more further. The hollow powers augment the bankai mode of the zanpaktou and its powers, but it isn't a new form of the zanpakutou itself.

Please remember he may use the hougyouku on himself to change himself into a vaizard and make himself stronger.
In my point of view im pretty sure Ichigo will find another way to unleash his power which is starting to look like dragonball z, Goku keeps getting stronger everytime he's close to danger or something and so does Ichigo. It may not reveal it yet but right now Ichigo is being healed by orihime so it might give him some sort of spiritual energy which won't really makes sense.
Hmm i heard that there is the bankai level 2 , maybe it is just rumours though but it would be cool, rumours has it that when the captains will be achieving bankai 2 then kenpachi will get his 1st bankai, anyway cna't know about that unless you continue watching it but currently i find the anime very slow too much talking and useless actions in the fights.

Another level after bankai would just be too much. It's the same as people imagining everybody with bankai. It is a captain-level skill, and even if Renji and ...Oh I forgot his name... Ah...Ikkaku(sp?) have bankai (remember they were proposed as captains when Aizen&co took off) that doesn't mean Rukia or others will suddenly go bankai. Because it is rare, hard to achieve and special and ultimate...There is no way there is another level. I think it would just make the story look like it's written by the wind... I don't know how to translate this... It's an expression in my language. But it will no longer feel as a well written story, but rather like "oh...what should happen this time? let's just make another level cause this character just might need it to beat up this guy"...That's plain stupid and I might as well stop watching/reading. Just as I believe Kenpachi will never reach bankai.

? Get Real!? Where did you hear such a crappy rumour. Such a hypothesis isn't even one. There is NO level after bankai.
Some thing gotta be after the Bankai, be it not for the Sword but something, cause even though the mask is a bit more power up, it is jsut useless for Ichigo, when he can only use it for 11 sec, umm yeah wth is with that, ... im going with others thoughts , that maybe mask and sword fusion abilities, or a lvl 2 mask...

No there isn't, because you have NOT read the manga, you actually don't know how long he [Ichigo] can hold on the mask for. If your not informed, then you should stop making crappy hypothesis on a bankai level 2? or a mask level 2?
It is not the intention of the author to create a much more powerful level after a released arrancar, or a Vaizard with bankai. They are the max levels which any character can achieve, except for one off characters like Kenpachi.

Well the only Problem with everybody saying that mabey there is another hollow transformation is that Ichigo can only hold what he's got now for 11 seconds. Hand now he's just going to pop out somthing totaly new and super powerfull? Whats he going to do? Hold it for 2 seconds. Im just saying it seems a little odd to go busting out somthing brand new with the hollow thing if he can barely hold the Hollow mask right now. Who's going to be there again to teach him this time? It just kinda leaves you hanging. I guess we will just have to wait. Thats about all we can do.

Third level of Shinigami`s Power can not be.
This would turn Bleah into a new Dragon Ball, with unlimited releases of Zanpakutou and a power that can destroy a planet in a second.
Bleach is something more "Realistic".
I think there will be knew Bankais, and lod characters will release his Bankais at the edge os the battles that Wii come.
But a Third Level i think is no sense.
The Vaizard Power is the only think the can grow in the future of the series.
Ichigo`s power is nothing close to some characters like Aizen, Ulquiorra, Stark and Shinji. He can evolve even more with his holow power, but only his holow power.
his Shinigami side alreary reach its limits. But his Hollow side is just in the beginning.
He can make thing unbeliveable.
Cero, Bala, Sonido, Regenaration, and even more.
But still that, wwe will have to wait.

Since you haven't read the manga, i'd shut up about how long Ichigo can hold out his mask for. As for there being a second level of bankai or another level in the hollow mask...
There is nothing, nothing at all... And its quite sad to see that people want another level!? Dragonball Z is unique in that a power level was infinite... But get real... Let's save that for the DB series... Shall we? If the same system applied to Naruto, infinite chakra, won't that make naruto crap, same goes with any other anime/manga.
If there is no limit, its crap. Thank god there ISN'T a level after bankai.
