Finally Ichigo is beaten up enough for his inner hollow to come out and fight, and he even has a convenient hole in his chest.

Well i agree that his hollow form is coming out, and he will slowly change to the hollow like that time when the vaizards held him down while he fought his inner self.
When Ichigo last fought his inner hollow, hollowIchi said that if he wanted to control his powers he better not die.

Tite Kubo really knows how to create a good cliff hanger. If it's hollow Ichigo, I'm happy, if it's a new power, still happy.
There is no longer any lesser predictably predictable event to come, this is the end.
Ichigo went way over the board...
what is true though, I do expect the next few chapters to include him coming to terms with his evil side. I always enjoy the Hong Kong manhua type of action sequence that sees the good guys turn bad before turning back, perhaps if Ichigo goes solo and public enemy no.1 someone might have to collaborate and bring him down.
Heck plot twist wise...
Espadas and captains work together to stop the unstoppable demon that is Ichigo.
He does look remarkably different from the last change, his hollow form when training with kensei the vaizard was much wilder and didn't have horns. Halfway through when they revealed a cover drawing of his bearing a horned skull on one side of face I was expecting it come soon, but never this late and so suddenly.
However, now I got visual confirmation that his earlier hollow form was probbaly "first stage" or "menos form" not Arrancar form which he has seemed to be in now.
Will my predictions of him going
Human > Shinigami > Vaizard > Complete Vaizard (current) > Full Hollow > Arrancar Breakthrough > New Species

It was predictable that the inner hollow was gonna come out sooner or later but i guess i cant complain lol. pretty much the same as naruto if you know what i mean, where the good outside fails and the evil inside has to step out and finish the mess :P i mean, what kinda inner demon lets his host die

It is not that strange, consider he has shown that now he could tear off the arm of Ulquiorra like it were made of a plushie doll, he could well be on his path to consuming more power and become something else.
I said in the other two threads there is a possible form that may emerge if he breaks even the mask he is wearing now to reveal what could be, and in fact will be the only true Vast Lorde achieved through natural means. Not that Hangyoukou (or whatever that piece of rock is) changed like Wonderweiss, he could well be the only human to attain that stage, meanin he could never revert back due to his immense spiritual pressure.
However, right from the start , many indicated he is born with immense spiritual power, regardless of what caused it, that was a browbeat of a hint that he could be something different. Rukia opened his ability to become shinigami, but what is Ichigo in himself, what is he hidden inside? That could be where you will fnd the answer on how he is now the form he is in.
