Humm.. reread the manga or rewatch the anime. Ulquiorra is 4.
But I think it's too soon to assume that Halibel is weaker than Ulquiorra. She is 3 after all, but we aren't sure if Aizen new of Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa when he ranked the Espada. And I think that Halibel has proved she's pretty strong, though I think she gave away most of her attacks too quickly.

Well, in fact i think there is something weird in bleach rit now.. we tho taht the number in any spada was the emblem of power, in that way 1 is stronger than 10, but now, ulquiorra said in the fight with ichingo that he got a second transformation, and he was the only one... so, we can thought that he was way stronger than the others, but now YAMMY is 0 not 10, then is stronger... but now the spada number 2, i mean the old guy that is the death... is very powerfull.. then wtf? in teh end there is no balance in power and we dont know who is the real man you know... plus this, Aizen is overpowered ... then is no way to know right now wich of them is a real muthefuk.. in power..

Bleach is one of those manga where it's difficult to say who is stronger than who based simply on numbers as (well there should be at least) other factors such as weaknesses and strengths that come into play. There's also the point that things keep on getting added and added to the story, that basing anything of what has previously happened wouldn't hold true in the current progression of the story.

I agree with you mekky, kubo keeps giving ichigo powerups, which eventually i think is how the series will end: ichigo getting powered up enough to lose to aizen then kubo will use some deus ex machina to end aizen lol, but thats my opinion - total speculation guys

I was waiting eagerly for Ichigo to go against Ulquiorra Cifer but I never expect the outcome from the fight to be so short and a sudden end for the espada. Its like Grimmjow Jeagerjaques stronger than Ulquiorra. I really like to see both of them Ulquiorra and Ichigo, fight to death but why must it end so fast? When Ulquiorra released his sword, i thought.. OK, now I'm getting some adrenaline pump up. I can expect the mangaka to give us some real action here. But the way Ulquiorra dies, I really don't expect him to die so soon. Maybe he is stronger than Grimmjow but heck, I never saw that coming. Tite Kubo should let both of the espada fought first before ending their life.

Me too, I agree with mekky that we can't give a definite answer to your question. In just a moment someone might get power up or power down. Like Ichigo, suddenly his hollow form is so strong and he lost control of his hollow instinct. I wonder how did Ichigo's hollow form get so strong? Maybe because he keeps getting brought back to life by Orihime that make him grow stronger. Like the Dragon Balls series, Goku as the Saiya-man get stronger each time he heals his injuries.

Ulquiorra seems stronger than Halibel, but since he can't release his second form without going out of Hueco Mundo (I think, that's what it's called), he probably can't beat Halibel.

I'm pretty sad that Ulquiorra died. It was so dramatic on how he died. The voice acting for him was pretty nice. :D

Lol, this last chapters has whoen us how they can just cahnge the balance of power in a blink lol... but well, this si no the real fact .. in the end is only one thing less. How they can defeat a guy like Aizen? every spada is afraid of him and they are fuck.. powerfull and still they are under Aizen service .. so? what amount of power he got? i remember the scene when he just stoped ichigos bankai with his fingers! wtf! is tha real? i said in that time.. now i can see more clearly all the things .. i think is just it :P he is a dang powerfull guy that even the old captain respects cause is really really powerfull... however, ichigo is strong, but i think is not enought power to beat Aizen. Maybe Orihime can do some service for Aizen ;) lol

With the latest chapters, and especially Harribel's almost inevitable defeat against Hitsugaya, I came up with two theories:

1. Kubo forgot that she was ranked 3 and that she was sweeping the floor with Hitsugaya BEFORE releasing her sword. And he also forgot that Hitsugaya could barely handle one of Grimmjow's Fraccion, who weren't particularly strong (yeah, I know he had the limiter, but still, it shouldn't have been so hard)
2. Kubo just wants to end this Espada fights soon by reusing old techniques disguised as new ones (like the Hyoten Hyakkaso. I can't be the only one that noticed how it was almost identical to Ruri'iro Kujaku). Probably he's planning on something big and wants to get to it as soon as possible.

I agree with everyone above. Stating who is stronger and who is weaker is a hard thing to do. Uryuu defeated Mayuri and almost killed him, but he couldn't handle Szayel, whilst Kurotsuchi defeated the Espada with relative ease. Ichigo fought on par with Kenpachi, even before getting Bankai and Hollow, but Grimmjow swept the floor with him AFTER getting his Bankai and a bit of his Hollow powers, while Kenpachi defeated Nnoitra even without getting any power-up.

The power levels are not only about ranks or that stuff, but of the kind of fight. For example, maybe Kenpachi wouldn't have been able to defeat Szayel, and probably Mayuri would've lost against Nnoitra, because of their fighting styles. But it's hard to tell. I'm guessing it's the same thing here.

There is no power balance in Bleach whatsoever and the Uryuu thing is probably the best example of it. There is a chance that Ulq is stronger than Harribel, as he does say he is the only one with a second release, but despite what he says, I'm pretty sure Aizen knew about it, he knows everything. If Harribel really is dead (and I dont think she is) then she got massively godhaxed, which isnt really fair. Ulq got to release twice before he got nailed, but Harribel hasn't really shown us her full power yet. I mean she was toying with Hitsu's bankai when unreleased, which should give a decent perspective on how strong she really is.

I don't think thats necessarily true. Shes presented like shes been defeated, but knowing that the Vizards have yet to appear, I can't help but think that she still has some ace up her sleeve. I think all in all, there isn't really enough support to show how strong she really is... (yet?).

Espadas exchange numbers like musical chairs so I don't really put much credibility into the number system.

Also, Halibel and Ulquiorra have very different functions within the storyline so their abilities are going to reflect whatever the plot requires of them, irregardless of who's "stronger" than whom. Halibel's role is pretty superficial compared to Ulquiorra's, who made an appearance far earlier and has had deeply personal interactions with several main characters. I think all Espada four through one are pretty much on a level playing field with one another.

U cant say that, he might even be as strong as stark. he didnt really care about ranks and others goal. he just did wat he was told.
but he was in complete different level from 5th espada when he went fully out which shows that the number didnt show his real power
