I have mentioned that in several threads already that Ichigo might have inherited his secret Shinigami powers from his father who we have witnessed to be a Shinigami as well.

Ichigo's dad is the Shinigami King, that's why Ichigo is so strong and why his dad never interrupts Ichigo's fights; even when Ichigo is beaten to death and his hollow form comes out and possesses him.

Lol...i think uraharra just used his dad some time in the past for something. Ichigo was born after he was a shinigami. Otherwise ichigo couldn't have had shinigami powers of his own.

Before he ever became a Shinigami he already had the ability to see ghosts and souls. His true Shinigami powers were awakened by Rukia as we know, I mean every other mortal would have died, I guess.

The only question remains, how is it possible for a hollow soul to possess Ichigo and resemble a mirror image in appearance and make him transform into the Monstrous form that he resembles at the moment? Does it have to do with his mother's dead...

How well did the other Shinigami know about Ichigo's father?

I'm perplexed over this issue as well. We all know from a previous episode that Ichigo's dad has captain level shinigami powers, but he did not appear at all in the 'Turn back the pendulum' arc. However...I was thinking if he could be the previous captain of 10th squad or something, since I don't remember seeing any captain of 10th squad in the 'turn back the pendulum' arc (Maybe I just missed it or I remembered wrongly, I don't know). And during that time Hitsugaya Toushiro was not the captain of 10th squad yet. So...?

Well, one of Ichigo's sisters partially can sense any ghosts as well, we mustn't forget. What I was wondering about, was maybe Ichigo's Mom will appear as a Hollow again...

Referring to the latest chapter, how the hell would he be the Shinigami's trump crad if he cannot even defeat Ulqiuorra with his own Powers. I mean Aizen would take full advantage of Ichigo if he turns into his monstrous Hollow form self. Aizen knows all about Arrancar's and Hollow's strengths and weaknesses, that's for sure.

Wasnt it the Grand Fisherman that took Ichigos mom's form, not his mom itself. So I dont think we are going to see that again, since his dad killed that hollow.

Also I like to think that the hollow inside of Ichigo is going to be a Vasto Lord, and each time we see him come out he gets more and more powerful. I dont know about Aizen taking full advantage if he transforms into what he did against Ulqiuorra though, Aizen is very powerful but his control comes from his enemy seeing his swords power, which Ichigo has not.

Ichigo's hollow part most probably came from the moment he almost turned into a hollow trying to regain his shinigami powers using uruharra's questionable techniques.

Interpret as you wish, the lines are blurry in the manga/anime, so dont waste your time abusing me, i could be right or i could be wrong.

1) Isshin Kurosaki is equal to a captain class shinigami in how he was able to defeat the Grand Fisher and the captain's robe on his arm while in shinigami form
2) The pendulum arc took place 100 years in the past from whatever year they are in right now, its possible Isshin was a captain for a few years and then quit during the intervening years.
3) We already have proof that Urahara has the ability to create a permanent gigai that is untrackable by the Soul Society, and that he was banished solely for that reason. So it would be very simple for him to make one for Isshin. This could also lead to the conclusion that Masaki Kurosaki was a shinigami, but the romantic in me makes me hope that Isshin gave up all his power to be with a woman he loved.

4) Both of his sisters can see spirits to a certain extent, Karin is able to see them completely as of the start of the arrancar arc, and Yuzu states she can only see a vague presence.
5) When Ichigo fought Byakuya and Renji trying to save Rukia, Byakuya destroyed the power that Rukia had given him. He even says this. Ichigo's innate powers were undamaged.
6) Ichigo's hollow was created when he attempted to force his shinigami powers to awaken. His mask partially formed before he was able to awaken his powers. I saw this as a visual metaphor that he had half the powers of a hollow.
7)Undoubtedly Ichigo's hollow is a Vasto Lord or perhaps even higher. Grimmjow and Ulquiorra were Vasto Lords and were defeated. Ulquiorra fell quite easily at the hands of a completely consumed Ichigo, which implies that he has vast reserves of power that havent been seen yet.
8) In light of the new chapter, it can be said that Ichigo is either one of the most powerful shinigami to exist or that he's gonna defeat Aizen through the fact that as of yet he hasnt seen Aizen's Shikai. But Unohana seems to be in awe of the power that Ichigo has so its probably going to turn out a combination of the two.

While he did defeat the hollow in combat over his soul, he can still lose himself to it for a time, this is not shown to occur in the other vizard, but this could be due to the fact that we havent seen a great deal of fighting involving them. But if you look at arrancar and vizard as two sides of the same coin, then they should have similar capabilities. And the same is not shown in the fights with arrancar, and we have seen a great deal of their fights.

My personal theory is that Aizen is at the same level as a captain. That he uses his hypnotic abilities to make you think he is extremely powerful. My reasoning is this, as of yet we havent actually seen him fight. Everything that he has done was done in the absence of Ichigo, the only person to have NOT seen his shikai. If he was at the level of a captain, he would be formidable as it were, and when Ichigo fought him on Sokyoku Hill, Ichigoo was far from his optimum abilty. Explaining why he was easily defeated.
So he has all of you under hypnosis to see you put up a fight or see another person put up a fight, then he walks up to you and cuts you in half.

Wow,... if what you say is true,... you made me look like a fool, because... yes, now that you mentioned it, I partially remember from the animated Pendulum beginning Arc that he has hypnotic powers. Well, all of a sudden that makes sense, that he uses these hypnosis powers to fool his opponents minds and kill them in an instant. Wow that is really a treacherous way of killing an opponent, even nastier and agonizing than by brute force as I and other fans have ever imagined to vision. I mean as a typical Martial Arts fan and Dragonball fan I am used to see characters developing in the physical aspects instead of their brains...

Nevertheless I don't think that a Captain like Byakuya would be fooled so easily as the other Shinigami, or what do you think?

That is the thing..none of the captains know of Aizens powers as far as I can remember...the Vizards are the only ones that know how it works.

I am going to guess that his mom was never a shinigami but I will probably be wrong because she most likely knew that the grand fisher was a hollow...but then again...it could have been the case that she never saw anything except Ichigo running towards a river. lol. I do like what the one person said about Isshin giving up everything for his love of a human woman. That would be a cool twist.

I thought Aizen would be at the upper limit at being a death god. He bragged about the upper limit enough times? Wouldn't it be lame if he isn't there?

Didn't he say something along the lines of "if someone with several times capptain's strength uses it, it has the same effect as if it was fully awakened" or something in some anime episode when he made wonderwise?

Yes i apologize for not putting it in a spoilers thing, it was like 5 in the morning, and i had already deleted the post 3 times due to accidental key strokes, so i just wanted to get it done and posted. I apologize profusely for any breach of protocol envolving spoilers. Please Forgive me.

While I agree the Byakuya would be a formidible opponent for anyone, it was revealed in the last chapter released(382) that Ichigo is the only person to have not seen Aizen's Shikai. It is also said that the hypnosis Aizen employs is absolute. So power not withstanding, Byakuya wouldnt be able to tell the difference, even if he knew he was under the effects. I wouldnt put anything past Aizen at this point, he took his sword to people that had considered him an ally for decades. He killed Halibel in cold blood without a second thought, I cant see anything being beneath him as it is.

It wasnt intentional to make anyone feel stupid, thats how I interpreted what is said in the manga, so im either secretly leeching knowledge from Kubo's mind or im some insane crackpot looking into things too much. Like i said the lines in the manga/anime are still pretty blurry and we dont know much that is definite about Aizen. We still dont even know what Gin's Bankai looks like! Things are really open to interpretation at the moment.

Wasnt the whole reason for Orihime's kidnapping beacause he needed to awaken the Hogyoku? Again im not sure about that, its been a few weeks since i read that chapter and im too lazy right now to look it up.

It's cool. No worries. No. He actually kidnapped Orihime as a ploy to get most of the captains and Ichigo stuck in Hueco Mundo. He really had no point for Orihime other than that. He did learn the true nature of her powers though.
