I made this wall and the team of the site did not answer, is not itself for excess of people, but it is normal to delay thus? 24 hours?
The mods and admins are not superhuman, give them some more time. It's happened before, sometimes it takes a few days for a wall to be approved or rejected. Just hang in there and it'll be approved in a bit (hopefully!), or you'll get a message telling you it got rejected, and why (hopefully not!).
Wow 24 hours? Never happened before, but maybe theyre really busy now... mmm you used the bg to hide the extraction of your image.. XD

Yes, it is truth, but the approval of wallpaper, not delay more than 5 minutes, and having 3 people at the very least on, as people can perceive in the IRC.
