A wallpaper of Rin and Sakura... need some advice in improving this one... :)

Wow... cute scan, but the bg looks very... real. I can tell that it was a stock image. That should be the first thing you fix, for I can assure you with a real bg like that, it wont get accepted :/ And I can see some quality issues around the tops of their head and a little on the hands.

Hehe nice scan really cute love the smile of rin remindes me alot of Eri from school rumble hehe well you need to make your bg more anime like brusing it with abstracle brushes and adding texture i guess it will help you alot

Don't vector this, it will be a waste of your time ( the characters i mean)
the quality is not that bad you just need to clean itup a bit
some extraction problems at the sleeves and ..other places too
don't forget your sig
it's better to just make your own bg ,and apply lightings and everything then filtering a stock photo

A cute scan! but the background just like a photo! I think you can add some words on the wall! ^o^ hope this can help u!
I do suggest some blending...
u could either put 5px gaussian blur on characters, go to edit>fade gaussian blur>blending mode hard light
maybe that might look gay...just duplicate the original unblended layer over the guassian layer @ 50% opacitiy
or something...

Hmm i would say lookin at the last placed link that the frontscan work does not match the background..
the scan is a bit to starry and straight ecstracted so that it looks a bit cut off edges, maybe try to get them a bit more round ore sompt. Ore ya could go try to find a other fall background to use on it.
for the rest i would not know whut could be wrong, maybe add some falling leaves twirlin around them..

Maybe choose a different filter? because that one looks a bit weird with the scan.
did you change the girl's color?, it looked better before.
it's still kinda unclean, so clean the scanup a bit.

It's alright, but the bg still looks too real. my other concern is that they are right in the middle of the wall. i would suggest moving them to the right just a bit. it will look better plus it will give you a nice space on the left for some text.
I also think the bg is too real and it's a bit too bright , don't you think?

Nice scan, i think the last one you made looked good, but im not an expert, maybe they're right about the BG. i dunno... just sayin that it looked nice. :)
