Happy Birthday AP!
Today (March 12th) marks the 2nd anniversary of AP's birth. 2 years ago we decided to make a simple forum and gallery using phpBB and Coppermine, we have gone through some rough times, we have been serverless, domainless and have gone through several reincarnations to get to where we are today. Hopefully we now have the stability to go on another 2 years!
I would also like to give thanks to some people who have really helped AP over the years. Nat originally forked out half the server payment to start AP and also scanned in the bulk of the gallery images at the beginning. Following that we had server troubles for around a month and AP was homeless, Veniogenesis kindly found us hosting free of charge which was incredibly generous of him, if it werenâ??t for him AP would no longer be around as I had no motivation to continue. After that carloboy hosted us for a period of time before we got our own server.
I'd also like to thank xenohawk for all he has done for AP so far, while I have coded all the backend for AP, my presentational skills are nothing like his are, he took AP and made the design outstanding and asked for nothing in return, such dedication is rarely found on the internet.
So, thanks to all these people and you as a community I feel that we have possibly the best anime community on the internet, please join me in wishing AP a happy birthday!

HAPPY B DAY AP!!
I'm reliteley new (at posting that it) and i find it very much here, and all that the people do :) i wish AP will be around forever, and i will try and be here all the time that i possibly can, as this place is wonderfull, i hope it will get bigger, and expand it's wings, and again happy b day. :)

With this, I hope to say my thanks to all the great people who runs this community, seeing as how the it began from its humble roots. I am really surprised at how far it has come. A huge HAPPY B'DAY to Animepaper.net for coming this far and making it this good. Many happy returns and I sincerely wish from my heart that this site will continue.
A huge thanks to all those who made it happen, and the likes of Xenohawk and Sunsean and Bantam who make it happen, along with previous huge supporters of the site who kept it running when things look bleak and sad. The efforts are well received and though I am not here when all the things happened, I must say this community as it is now, is the greatest achievement yet.
A toast to the staff of AP and of course to AP itself for coming this far. Hope to see it coming and continuing for another few more years.
