Personally, my favourites are .//HACK Sign OST 1 + 2 as well as the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Ones (Be Human + The OST and the new OP single).
I also can't really say no to the nice 5-CD Box Set of Cowboy Bebop or the 7 CD S2 Works from Eva.

Right now I'd have to say the Wolf's Rain second OST. However, I'm fond of much of Kanno's works (Bebop, Escaflowne, GitS:SAC and her solo stuff) as well as Kajiura's (.hack, Noir). The RoD TV and Haibane Renmei soundtrack also rank pretty high my my books.

I don't listen much to anime OSTs but the ones which I have listened to and liked the most would be Noir, Last Exile and Read or Die OST.

I really like the Someday's Dreamers OST, and the .hack OSTs are pretty good as well.

I'd have to go with escaflowne and noir as well. i think hacksign was composed by the same guy as noir, but i still liked noir better... it was more upbeat and exciting, i guess. and escaflowne... who doesn't like the crazy orchestrated music? :happy:
