Valentine Wallpaper
I am busy working on a vector but Im far from done with it so I though creating another one before months pass by. It is my first wallpaper submit and first anime wallpaper here so I hope you people can help me out. On the first I really wasnt satisfied wih the background and had the thought of making a total different one, lack of inspiration I gues.
I'm a bit troubled by the shadow layer though, its the same green as the character and it kinda cover her up. Cant really figure out what other colors to use.
The character I used is from Pia Carrot, saw the scan on the main page and though she was cute :P. Hope you people can help me out! Thank you!
*EDIT* based on the comments below, made a version 2. Changed the background dots, removed the character zoom and added an outline to the hearts.

I'm unsure with the zoom layer. I suggest that you leave it out, because it's not favored at all by most people including me. I also suggest that you apply a texture to the pink shapes using Group and overlay mode set to Color Burn or something.

I agree with Zdenek, I dont really like the zoom layer, but if you dont wanna remove it, mayB set the opasity higher, so you can see through it.
and about that dotted background. Theres nothin wrong with it, but the dots make my eyes go grazy after a while. I wouldnt wanna imagine what it would do to people who set it as wallpaper, and look at it the whole day :p..

Changed some to the paper, hope this works out. Yet.. im not really satisfied with the background, I want something else yet.. I cant seem to find any inspiration, any suggestions or idea's are welcome!

Try removing the white edges around the character. If you're going for the glow effect, I'd advice against it because it really doesn't suit this wallpaper.

The edges of the lines of the heart are jagged and need fixing. Also, the shape to the left of her left shoulder has jagged lines and doesn't fit with the other, smoother shapes.
And I really don't like the fact you've reversed to 2006 text.

Ok! Made an edit! I changed the text '2006' to 'Forever' so it would a little more timeless and removed the glows from the char. Also removed as $umboody suggested the upper left shape besides the character and changed it.
Removed the outline from the hearts and instead of that I used a soft pattern on them. Hope these are improvements, please let me know!

It looks great!! Hey, it might be too late to say this, but about the shadow, maybe you could try making it the same shade of blue that's part of her outfit. Just my opinion. I thought the shadow thing was very cute.

Out of the 3 versions, I like the very last one best, but what's with the crosshairs inside the "o" of "forever"?

O, for sure the last one. i really like the little white dots you added to the hearts. honestly can't think of anything to change. i say submit and see what happens. :)
Hey! thanks for all the comments people ^_^ It really helped me out and I submitted the wallpaper, I removed the cross from the O in the logo. Hope it gets accepted. Once again, thanks!
