Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Well, I am a big fan of JRock and JPop and I listen new Enka too (namely Hikawa Kiyoshi).

So I would like to know if there are more JRock / JPop fans here and which artist do you like (^.^).
I guess I like japanese music because japanese is a very good sounding language and I also like the artists (I usually listen to good looking guys, hehe XD).

I have many favorites... recently I listen to 80s music too (Shonentai, Hikaru Genji, Go Hiromi, Tokunaga Hideaki, Nakamori Akina, WINK, Shibugakitai, Matchy, Tahara Toshihiko...).

So... what about YOU?! (^.^)

Moving this thread. Higashi can you please familiarise yourself with the FAQ a little. You've been digging up dead threads and posting in the wrong categories.

I'll listen to anything good that comes my way. Language isn't a factor in my tastes.

I have a lot of favorite J-rock bands, but my top three are Dir en grey, Gazette, and Alice Nine.
For J-pop, I love Utada Hikaru. My second favorite is Namie Amuro. I don't really have a third favorite.

I've never heard of Enka, however. What is it?

I absoulutely love songs from Asian Kung-FU Generation, Orange Range, and Sambomaster. It must be something to do with the fact that they don't make traditional music of their genres.

Dir en Grey gets the big nod of approval from me. Their music is unique, the lyrics are disturbing, their costumes are sexy and seductive. Kyo is mysterious, talented and evil. Kaoru has nice cheek bones and is dedicated. Toshiya is plain sexy especially with his bass guitar. Shinya is cute and adorable and doesn't smoke. Die's presence just makes everything funny and realistic. Dir en Grey is my definite "numero uno" J rock band, just a major pity that they don't do tours down in Australia. =="

I absolutely enjoy Hikaru Utada and some of Ayumi Hamasaki (at least the ones i can listen to). I really love the music behind them, its truly different and a change to music that i hear on the radio on a daily basis. I've just gotten back into Namie Amuro, great music...and a great voice. I also like new artists, like Angela Aki (who's playing on the Final Fantasy XII soundtrack...sings lead theme song "Kiss me goodbye"). I also like some Jrock, like Gackt...great voice. Unfortunately, I have never heard of Enka before...it sounds interesting...
