Tunderstorm and Hail!!
Theres been a lot of thunderstorms where I live a few days back. But its finally died down. I really don't like them so much...its ok...but the thunder.. *shutters* sometimes I don't like it.
Well, about the hail. My family and I were driving home and all of a sudde it started to rain really hard...it rained so hard no one could see in front well at least barely and at times your couldn't see anything. Some people pulled over on the side of the highway but my uncle drove slowly along with some others. Its was really bad! Then we started to hear noise on top of the van and we realized heavy hail was falling. We pulled under one of those bridges in the highway so it wouldn't damage our vehicle. Some other people also pulled over...it seemed like everyone stoped on the high way. 0_0!
ANyone every experience hail? and what do you think about thunderstorms? ^^'

We get thunderstorms all the time and hail several times a year, though it's usually just the little pea sized stuff, and rarely gets bigger than a half-dollar. They only bother me when they knock the power out. What I dislike about thunderstorms is that they spawn tornados, one of which almost took out my apartment earlier this year.
Thunderstorm I like, although it may sound dangerous I like 2 stay & watch the storm I can hardly wait for lightning... I like tha flashes they make on the sky... it's fascinating 4 me...
Hail I don't like... if it's 2 dangerous, where I live the size of 1 ball of ice is as big as a tennis ball... sometimes bigger... X_X

It never hails or thubderstorms that badly where I live. Not nearlly as bad as your situation, so I don't really have a problem with it , but if it did thunderstorm and hail like you say it did then I would have a problem.
Around here the worst hail I have ever seen was hardly the size of a pea. Heh heh. Thunder and lighting is pretty basic too, but I do find it really enchanting to watch. When it rains I like to sit by the window (even though your not supposed to do that... heh heh.) and watch the rain hit it and the lighting spread across the sky. The sound of thunder excites me too. It’s really beautiful.
On the other hand, if I got what the rest of you seem to get, I would really be dreading the lighting and hail! It’s so cold how such beauty can bring such destruction!

Lightning and very heavy thunder excites me very much, it just looks and so sounds so mighty (it's like Mother Nature is bowling and hits a strike).
At my place it doesn't happen that often and very heavy hail almost never appears here, although I'm not very "Woohoo it hails!" when I'm sitting on the bicycle.

How big was the hail?
3 years ago we were at Six Flags for band and right before closing time some nasty storms came through the area (they ended up closing the park early because of it) The highway was packed going back home (and it was dark by this time) and it had already started storming and pouring down rain. Then we hear little thumps on the bus roof and look to see its hailing... then we start hearing loud thunks and I look out to find giant baseball size hail (some were bigger then that) falling down xD The bus kept going, never pulled under a overpass. They didnt deem it nessicary unless there was a tornado... which there was but it went away very quickly xD
I really havent seen it hail a grand number of times in my life... but we get pretty nasty storms here. I live in Texas... and tornados are acctually rarer then people think. Yeah there are plenty, but they are all in the same place usualy and they rarely hit other areas (but they do).. Seems they all like to come down in the same place too xD I HAATE it when it happens at school... they scare us more then nessicary. Sometimes there is no tornado, its just a bad storm and they set off the siren (only ONE time did they move us because the storm was bad and told us there was no tornado, they just didnt want anything flying thru the windows (the wind had to have been 80 mph or so, it was blowing trees up))... I am deathly afraid of tornados and when that stuff happens at school I start shaking and crying and getting really sick to my stomach... Thankfully I havent had to deal with it for the past 3 years... this last year we had VERY few bad storms and they were never during school... that made me happy xD Even at home I get very nervous, especially if I'm alone.
The only time I've ever been at home during a tornado was in kindergarden... It was a strange tornado, it came down at the end of the road (this is out in the country), and it stayed on the road the entire time then came up when it was about a mile from the house (it was pretty funny, thats what we were told happened). We just sat in the middle of the house because it was hailing really bad... and we didnt want to be around if the hail got big enough to bust the skylights xD
One storm a couple of years ago came very quickly (it was around sunset and the sky became completely black (not dark gray, black) and the wind picked up from 0-70 in just a few seconds... and a certain gust blew a skylight off the house xP There was a mad scramble trying to get it covered up because the sky started to dump bucketfulls of rain when the storm got really going.
I really dont like storms... but they happen here... except since last year we havent been getting much rain, let alone storms (more regular rain then storms) but a couple of years ago... uuugh X_X Rained and stormed all the time
Right before school started 2 years ago I was sitting in the garage watching a storm when a lightning bolt came down in the middle of the driveway xD The thunder nearly busted my eardrums @_@
I've seen lightning come down pretty close/to the ground too. Many times

I,ve seen a thunderstorm a couple of times I like to watch the lightning and hear the thunder as I lay down and read a good book while hail is'nt that great it damages cars and other property
Rain and thunder is nice. Feels exciting and livens things up.
Where I live don't hail or thunderstorm that much . Maybe once or twice a year . I actually kinda like watching hail , cuz usually after the hail is over or during the hail there is a nice sun shine .
I'm a fan of rainy days, and whenever it gets to thunderstorm or hail, I can't be more pleased. It has never been too much of a problem, at least where I live, I have never heard of thunder damaging a house or so, and hail tends to be rare, and small, so it can't be bad for anyone. I actually like to be outside whenever it's raining hard, but I tend to avoid hail, since it actually hurts you ^.^
IT IS WEATHER !!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD COULD WE THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!???
Cant say i've ever experienced hail that bad, but i think storms are really cool. Magnificant bolts of lightening splitting the sky randomly and the rolling crack of thunder make for an excellent show at night time. I generally turn off all the lights in the house to enjoy it better, its cool
I like thunderstorms and hail only when i'm inside the house...its too hectic if i'mm driving. i love rainy weather too...they're all comfortable with me...but i'd hate to be outside with that weather
I love rainy days and alos like thunderstorms and hails on that kind of weather I sleep the best.
