I really like the sunset mt. background. is it a stock photo or did you make it on Terragen
It's a stock photo made by terragen...
Can you make the crystal ball more transparent? Not a lot, just enough to where you can see the background through it with Sakura and Shyaoran on top of that.
Also, is it that you can see them in the ball? Or is it a reflection of them from behind the viewer?

I really like the idea and the background is awsome..but the thing is that if the sun is behind them, and the light goes from there..and side of the sphere that we see is supposed to be dark, since you a shadow going in the same derection..simply i mean that there is not supposed to be any light reflecting from it in the front..but it's a good idea..good luck..can wait to see the final vesiong ^_^
Okey..
I didn't really gets what your tryuing to explain but here's what I got from your explanation up there..well..this is not quite good..but i think this one look better than the first one..

Well, there is a problem with your lighting. You have the sun shining BEHIND the sphere, but you have a shine INFRONT of the sphere. The lighting and shadow placement needs to be fixed. Also, the background doesnt really blend in with the sphere/contents, and the feather is kinda low quality. If you can fix all that you will have a good looking wall.
Good luck.

It looks like some good process is being made between the first entry and the second on this thread, but the lighting is still a problem. Maybe these will help.

Just make sure you line up your light source with your reflections and shadows. When they aren't in sync, it seems fake. Keep up the good work on your project, man.
