First Wallpaper

Well this is my first time trying to make a wallpaper. Hmm...I've made layouts, avatars, buttons and other things before but I haven't really ever tried to make wallpapers...but yea..^_^...well please tell me what you like and don't like...or what I could do to make it better. I'm open to any suggestions....oh! and the program I used was Adobe Photoshop .07.

I went back and tried to fix it...*sighs*...but yea..well here they are...with out the glowing thingys...and I put a grid with it...??

I really like it.. are you sure it's your first one?..lol..it looks really neat.. maybe you should make the background more colorful or just add more brushing or texturing..it's a great start keep up the good work..good luck)))

How would I add texturing? I don't know how to do that...*sighs*...but yea...I'm so lame....-_-;...so if I want to add this to the gallery do I just leave it in here? or do I have to upload it?

Most everything looks good, with one exception. The large white space area with all that cluttered sparkles and stuff? It looks messy and sloppy. I think if you put a little more time into that area and made it more subtitle, elegant, and deliberate it would finish it off very well. Not necessarily ordered, but either that, or a more deliberate and elegant disorder.
The rest of the wallpaper is really well put together, the border, text, and window look great. So keep trying, k? You're not too far off.

It seems like somethings is missing... something in the background. I don't think that using a texture would be the best option, this wall is way too delicated to make that. Maybe you could make a bigger and softer version of the window (more blue than lilac), almost transparent.. and place it behind the text.
And talking about the text, did you try moving the "Bellow the Stars" part a little bit to the right? so that the B doesn't step on the main scan. I think that those three lines moved (just as they are between eachother) a bit to the right where you have some blank space, will look great ^_^

Not bad for a first try! Definitely a sweet and cute wallpaper. Its very girly with the purple/lavander white color theme. The background is simple but it kind of fits the image. Maybe put in some more butterflies and brush work in the background would give more life to the background. Also maybe bring out the purple color a bit more. Its really cute though and I would like to see it in the gallery.
• What the … it’s wrong with your wallpaper? I don’t see any big problems with it. In fact adding anything at it could very well injure the whole idea of your “delicate” wallpaper. I like it as it is… you should submit it already. :)
