Hello!I recently started watching Clannad and I'm hooked on it! I saw the last ep and I cant wait for the next one =D
My fav character is Okazaki-kun
Well, it's my first time to watch an anime about life in school. And this tv series really got me hooked to it. It gives me a good feeling of how school-life should really be. And it must be enjoyed by all. Fuuko is really a good sister who cared about her sister's wedding a lot. Enjoy the rest of the episodes ...

Clannad is quite good as expected from Key and Kyoto.
It's the well known way Key makes their stories, and it's good as it is.
I just hope they manage to bring the whole story into the few episodes, since Clannad really has much content.

You mean Fuuko-chan?
It's good, that Key doesn't let the girls disappear whose story is finished.
That was the problem in the previous works.
Though, it belittles Fuuko's disappearance a bit...

Really good anime if i can say it mysealf, its have the kanon,air feeling. still though, i wanted to see more "love-love" in this anime ...

@Stievu: Who is this "Fuuko-chan" you speak of? I'm geting warm and fuzzy inside and I have the feeling that I'm almost remembering something.
Anyway, here is some comment on the latest episodes:
I don't really like the direction Clannad is taking. It really went downhill since the first arc. The comedy is still good but the drama doesn't really impress me. Nagisa's arc has only been dissapointing so far. The fact that her parents ... just isn't as big of a secret as I hoped it would be.
Maybe the next episode will surprise me in a positve way, who knows? At least I hope it will, it would be a shame if a decent series like this would go down with a boring end.

This muste be one of the best anime series I have ever seen. The characters are just unbelivable good and everyone feels so different from each other. I just cant wait til the afterstory!
I think this was a rather disappointing anime such high hopes, for all the other girls, and such a predictable Nagisa X Tomoya. Nothing can be changed.
How was it that he suddenly changed for this one girl that others couldn't change him for years?
Why did he bother to speak with her?
What in the world drove him to do things he normally wouldn't do?
I do believe this anime was very predetermined in the outcome, and a little too determined to see it, that they forgot to make it enjoyable for the viewers.
Similar to other works by Key, example is Kanon, also a predetermined couple, and the story just like in Clannad, broken into acts, where only the certain characters are mentioned, and no others are important.
I think that is one of the worst parts of this anime, and just couldn't stand watching each one of them develop.
On the other hand, beautiful art, color, and very well edited.

I think you're a bit wrong there
Key divided the anime into sections (arcs) like the game.
So in one it was Tomoya helping Nagisa, then Tomoya helping Kotomi, then Tomoya helping Tomoyo, and in the end back to Nagisa.
While in Kotomi's arc you can see it the clearest, that the only character getting development was Okazaki. Even though you gather bits of Kotomi's past, still the only one undergoing significant change is Okazaki.
The same same for when he was helping Tomoyo, and how she affected his life, by waking him up, caring to cook for him, that changed him.
The sister's had no significant role, their stand point didn't change, sure they cried a bit, but that's all.
So this anime has only the character development for 2 out of the 7 main characters.
Very disappointing, also very similar to so many other anime series with; one guy being a delinquent, liked by many girls, he helps them, they fall for him, and in the end he chooses one, and THE END.
There is no simile to realism, here, only the same plot design you see today almost everywhere.

I love Clannad too much Every Character in TV Series is very pretty...OH Godd.
Fujibayashi Kyou is very pretty, even she anger in sometime. I must see them all, and now I awaiting for CLANNAD the movie and After Story .
