To say the truth, i did'n like this anime much. It was bored for me and not very full of emotions. and ending was very banal :(
Especially, after Kanon, this anime has no values.

Yeh clannad is nowhere near as emotional as kanon, kanon was beautiful, clannad was still good even though it was fairly predictable at times. i enjoyed watching it.
Since I am a really hater of Harem animes I was really sceptical to this anime, the only reason I actually watched it was because I desperatly was seeking a romance anime, i thought the begining where really great when Tomoya and Nagisa met and that made me hope for them develope love and end up together. But as always the harem part made me so irritated that I many times thought I would have to watch something else but reminded myself that there wasn't much else to watch.
I couldn't really understand the good point in Tomoya helping every girl he saw and everyone of them got intrested in him, I can't see the fun in it just that it is really pathetic. But taken that aside the parts with Tomoya and Nagisa was great, it got a great end and it was really beautifully drawn.

Compare to AIR and KANON, I think Clannad is not so good and fulls of boring jokes. Maybe bcos I expect too much by looking at its predecessor.

Clannad was definitely a series I thought I wouldn't like. I really hate harem anime. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, Okazaki is surrounded by girls, and he interacts with all of them, but the "every relationship has to be romantic!" plot that annoys me in other harem series wasn't present in this one. Instead, it was thoughtful and cute, and I found myself really enjoying the characters instead of being annoyed by them.
I haven't seen Air or Kanon, and I don't really plan to, but perhaps I might look them up again since everyone seems to agree that they're so much better than Clannad.

I started watching it by accident, actually... I thought it was an action anime.
Well... I was surprised, but I couldn't stop watching after I saw the first episode... Something about it drew me in. Soon I was entangled deep inside its confines...

It is a great series, but they rushed it for some characters. hope the after story will fill things up.

to watch it? The ED song abou the dango daikazoku is really cute,
isn't it?

Clannad was a good anime. I really hoped it wouldn't have an ending as sad as AIR, and it didn't! Though I must say, it was a little less captivating than AIR... I hope the after story will be interesting too... The ED song was kinda stuck in my mind for a whole month, and my sister got tired of hearing me singing it on and off 
I'm watching Kanon in the meantime... 4 episodes so far, and it's looks great

I love Clannad.
I didn't realize there was an anime until about a week ago.
I've been playing the Visual Novel, and it's pretty great.
I definitely suggest it, because there's a lot that occurs in it that you don't see in the anime!

I liked the series very much!! It´s very unique!!^^
I really liked it!! it was a really good series, it was both cute, sad and funny! it was one of the best series that I've ever seen! some parts made me cry 'cuz they were so sad and some parts made laugh so hard! overall it kept me hooked 'till the end
