I love this series so much! I think I even like it more than Air. I love all of the characters~ *__* Everybody is so cute and fun in their own way. And every episode always makes me laugh or cry or both.
I was referring to the anime kanon
+ i havent played any of the games...too lazy to take the effort to find an english version xD
and in the kanon move, the one by key anyways, makoto had the only real sad ending...the rest of them turned out fine

Chauand sunohara dying wouldnt be sad, it would be more comic relief

This series is rather sad. The thing is that Fuko is disappearing and the Fuko in the hospital condition is getting worse.

I feel like the pacing is not quite as good as Kanon. It still has potential, but right now, it's an ok series for me only.

True, I prefered the Makoto arc better
but even as of now, I think Tomoya and Nagisa's relationship is done a lot better then Ayu's.

On another note, we now know that Fuko and Kotomi are not the canon ending characters. I'm rooting for Kyou (lol at her asking Tomoya out) or more likely Tomoyo (if she gets poz loads of screentime over the next few, she's it), but it seems that Nagisa's arc being stretched over the entire season may signal Kyou and Tomoyo's loss.

I found the series thus far to be a bit slow. The biggest problem I believe is that none of the other characters really got any development, and an unnecessary amount of time was wasted because of it, where as one of the greatest strength in Kanon is that when one arc ended, there was enough development to dive straight into the next one.
While Fuko's arc had a satisfying ending to it, with episode 9 nailing it pretty good, the previous episodes were weaker comparatively to Kanon. Maybe it's the VA difference. I thought Kyon(Yuiichi) conveyed feeling far better than the current VA.

The Fuko's Arc spent a lot of episodes, so we can expect a short arc in the future... considering the number of girls, there must be a chance where the people can choose their favorite.

I'm after episode 10 and I have a problem with which character is the best. Tomoyo or Kotomi. Kotomi is too cute. It is impossible that there would be a person who would'n like her.

The moment wher she took the violin totally blowed my mind. That was just great, much better than sound bomb from Star Wars :D
Great also was the scene with Tomoyo and Sunohara.
"This is the bear that kicked my ass!" and the perfect kick as always :)
But when I saw Kotomi giving Tomoyo a hug I had to pause to calm down :)
