Clannad Anime Discussion
Right now I just hope to see the next episode.
Cant wait for the next episode aswell. Big fan of KyoAni animes. Clannads looking like another winner.
Clannad rules!! and both nagisa and tomoya are such a great couple 8) dontcha think so too
New episode 13 released today and the tone of the series is now getting more serious. It isn't as go lucky and happy as the first few. New characters still keep the series interesting but the removal of the starfish girl has reduced the appeal of the anime a bit.
Hope we get to see what really happens to her in the real world.

What's Clanned mostly about? I've never played the game really, and well, I did found the anime... But then, lazy me, I don't tend to wait...
You won't know what Clannad's really about unless I spoil the entire VisNovel/Anime series. Think of the themes Key has throughout their VNs, like Kanon and Air.
And by the way, there was a winter break between episodes 12 and 13. That's why there was no episode for 3-ish weeks.

K, here's the storyline of Clannad with just lil bits of spoilers.
Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and cigarettes. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. The two begin hanging out and slowly, as time goes by, Tomoya finds his life shifting in a new direction.
BTW, to the all the Clannad fans. I hope you guys seen the Clannad Movie which came out fall of '07.

I thought episode 13 was rather poor because Kotomi was shown very little... and it seems like ep 14 will be the conclusion of Kotomi's arc. Unfortunately, it sounds like she's going to disappear or something =(
I can't wait until the Tomoyo and Kyou arcs...

she lived out basically her whole childhood absolutely ALONE, kinda reminds me of myself:yourself... but yeah... too horrible to imagine the reality of it being in someone's life.

I just watched ep.14.
Beautiful end for the kotomi-chan arc. Very touching indeed, i never saw it coming.
We need more air-time of kotomi-chan chisai days.

Clannad 14 - Great, touching episode. A great way to end Kotomi's arc. Now that Kotomi's arc is finished, wonder who is next...
Clannad 14-To me was a great and touching episode. Not to mention it was an emotionally one to. I thought it was a great way how they ended Kotomi's arc. The only question I have now is, what going to happen next??
